Familienhotel Trebesingerhof

We booked a last minute one night trip here. Based it photos from booking.com. It surpassed expectations. We arrived a little late in the afternoon, checked in. The staff seemed to panic a little because we are an Italian English family (with my husband also speaking German) but the lady ran out to get her colleague who spoke Italian. Room- we had room 103 and it was basic but just what we needed for the night. I’d have happily stayed in there longer. It had the main room with a double bed and two single rooms with two single beds for our sons. Also a bathroom. Dinner- was nice. We ordered from the set adult menu. The kids had a buffet selection. The waitress brought over the wrong dish and “argued” it was what we had ordered. It was not, the maitre had already confirmed out order. She eventually brought out what we ordered and it was very good. Breakfast and Lunch- also a good selection. Lunch though was served “late” starting at 13:00. Kids club- this was really quite something else. Our boys could have played in there for days. When we checked out our youngest fell asleep within minutes! There is a great open space with a work shop area, wooden toy kitchen/ house area, lego area and mirrored play area. You pop around the corner and there is a 3 level soft play with a ball pit. This was the highlight for my boys. My only problem is that the older kids ran around without much consideration for smaller sized kids. There was a lady working in the kids club. I never got her name, but she was from Brazil, spoke 5 languages she was very kind to everyone! We have stayed in a few family hotels and it makes a difference when the people in the kids club seem to enjoy their job. Pools- were lovely. Plenty of space and you had an outdoor pool as well. Cleanliness- our room was clean and nice. Communal areas; there was an odd smell in the sitting area. Also I think something could be said (by staff to parents) about their children climbing up on the counters to help themselves to ice cream. I know it is fun to scoop it yourself (even I remember the idea of it being fun as a child) but they had their bare feet or dirty socks on the same counter which is not what you expect to see to be honest.

third time visiting baby hotel ! very good ! like the previous times it is a excellent place for babies, kids and their parents. Equipment for babies is available. Parents have much time for themselves due to the kids and babies animation !

stayed in room "josef" - spacious with all equipment for babies - babyphon with a cellular phone, diapers and so on. kids had a seperate room. very nice, new and clean. not loud. very good animation for babies and kids from 9am to 5pm and 6.30 pm to 20.30 pm seperate dinner for parents and kids ! food very good !

Nice place, wonderful attractions for kids, playgrounds, swimming pools, babysitting...what else? The food is excellent, very unusual menu, fresh vegetables, breakfast, lunch, afternoon food break and dinner all included in the price. Relax zone for parents, with indoor and outdoor pools, outdoor whirpool, sauna, fitness area and beauty center (not included)

we found the hotel great. We have gone there for many years and its always a pleasure to go back. We always feel at home when we go. The service is superb. It has a great atmosphere and its a great family resort
