Berghotel Hauserbauer

What a superb place ! Great accommodation, great food, great hosts, wonderful wellness and beautiful nature and possibilities for trips! Thank you so much for a great weekend. We will definitely be back, hope for longer period. One weekend is too short.

Really nice restaurant & hotel with beautiful views. Restaurant is cozy and romantic. Service is friendly and professional. Menu offers a lot of possibilities. Meats are the especiality. Our choice, 1 Hauserbauer special, 1 Salzburg Dreierlei and 1 dessert. Everything was good. Good rate Quality/Price. Total invoice, with beers, 55€. Very reasonable. Recommendable.

My stay with this hotel was my favorite ever. The hotel is impeccably clean, the service is incredible, and the food is world-class. The wellness area is dreamy, and has everything you need! I wish I could have stayed longer, and I am already planning a return visit.

We have stayed at this hotel with friends on two occasions, both times we found the family very welcoming, the food great and well up to the high standard of Austrian Cuisine. The rooms have a warm rustic style and are very clean and comfortable and has very good fast free WiFi. The views of the surrounding valley and mountains can be seen from the many windows, balconies and sun terraces. The hotel also has a lovely wellness area with treatments, massage, sauna and plunge pool for the brave! Having only just returned from our last visit I cant wait for next one and a nice cold bier served up by the lovely Anja.

This family run hotel has a fantastic position high on the side of the mountain, however, we had some reservations after a 4 night stay. While the family were very pleasant and welcoming, the stay was less than we expected. We had two areas of reservation. First of all while the food was generous in quantity, neither the choice nor quality was to the standard we expect in Austria for this level of hotel. Secondly the top grade room disappointed in several ways. The toilet was smelly, the bathroom window opened onto another guests balcony sitting area, and due to the hotel's proximity to a farm, the battle with flies endless. In retrospect we should have asked for the room to be changed, however we were there for a stress free life.
