Landhotel Rohregger

Strávit v tomto hotelu několik dní během zimní sezóny. Je situován trochu mimo obec, ale je to méně než 10 minut pěšky pěknou sněhovou stopou. Z tohoto důvodu - je to klidné a příjemné místo k odpočinku. Kuchyň je skvělá, každý den pěkná večeře a číšníci jsou v pohodě a zdvořilí. Lyžařská oblast je v těsné blízkosti s mnoha možnostmi lyžování a snowboardingu.

We stayed at this hotel as a family of five. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. From the moment we arrived, we felt that the owner treated us noticeably less warmly and respectfully than she treated other guests. Another disappointing experience was related to the bicycles. The hotel’s website advertises bicycle rentals. When we arrived, we asked the owner if we could rent bicycles, and she told us that the hotel did not have any bicycles at all. However, on the day we checked out, we saw several bicycles stored in the hotel’s garage. This left us wondering why we had been told that there were no bicycles. The most unacceptable incident happened while we were in our room. Without knocking or giving any warning, the owner suddenly entered our room and immediately started scolding us because a curtain had come off. That day there was a severe storm with very strong winds, and the curtain was damaged because of the weather. Instead of calling us or simply knocking on the door and asking us to close the window, she entered our room without our permission. We have traveled extensively, including many places across Austria, and we have never experienced such a violation of our privacy. The following morning, I calmly explained that entering our room without permission was disrespectful and completely unacceptable. I told her that she could have called us or simply knocked on the door. Instead of listening, she accused us of leaving the room “very dirty.” When I asked her what exactly she meant, she could not give a clear explanation. She only said that there was food in the room. It was simply our own food, and there was no rule prohibiting guests from eating in their rooms. She refused to have a proper conversation, insisted that we pay for the damaged curtain, and ended the discussion by saying she had to return to work, even though it was early in the morning. We left feeling disappointed and unfairly treated. Respect for guests, honesty, and respect for their privacy are fundamental in hospitality. Unfortunately, this was not the experience we had here.

A easy-to-access location in a walking distance to the town. A traditional Austrian chalette with sufficient privacy but also a place to sit in the evening. Dinner at order. Parking outside. Smaller bathroom, poor internet, but overall experience rather good

Landhaus Rohregger is a magnificent hotel with a view of the mountains. Location is good. Close to the centre and at the same time away from the hustle and bustle. The owners are very friendly, positive and helpful. The hotel is genuinely nice and clean. The breakfasts are delicious and there is a planty of food to choose from. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who appreciates tranquillity, cleanliness, quality and a view of the beautiful mountains.

This hotel and especially its owners will make you feel right at home. They were one of the friendliest people I ever had the pleasure of dealing with! The rooms were beautifully furnished, the selection at the breakfast buffet was broad and tasty and dinner was delicious! The location was super favorable too because it’s only minutes away from the skiing slopes! I really enjoyed my stay and can only recommend this place to anyone seeking a truly authentic austrian experience!
