Wellness-Familien-Hotel Schörhof

I have stayed at Schoerhof several times and every visit feels like coming home. The rooms are beautiful, comfortable, and well maintained, the food is excellent, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. The hotel is conveniently located just a 10-minute drive from the town center and close to many attractions and places of interest. I highly recommend it to anyone staying in Saalfelden.

It was the perfect place for me! When I was searching for a hotel, I was looking for a place where I could relax by a pool, enjoy walks in the mountains, delight in eating good food and shake off the stress I accumulated through hard work. Well, I found it all here! There was a choice as to whether I wanted to swim out of the sun in the indoor pool or relax under a tree with a good book and swim in the outdoor pool. (I did both!) I discovered a dirt road by a river, which allowed for a morning leisurely walk between the mountains, in the fresh of the day... I also did more strenuous trekking, with a group led by the owner of the hotel, who had told us that the trekking would not be hard but when we arrived at the top, I thought my soul would leave my body! Great, great fun!!!! What made it extraordinary was the food! WoW!!!! It was absolutely amazing; Michelin star quality! I was getting a personalised menu, with the food on the right hand side and the recommended white and red wines on the left. Every time I chose the wines recommended (which was every evening) I found that they married perfectly with the food I was eating. But the cherry on the top was the morning coffee!!! It was just perfect; not too strong, not too weak and the flavour just delicious! I had a great time there and I thoroughly recommend the hotel!

We stopped here on our route to Zell am See, we were welcomed by a young man...who showed us to a table, offered us a drink....the menu is good ,lots of choices...the food didn’t disappoint, the schnitzel was beautiful....so was the salad, my partner asked if he could have Sauerkraut ....was told No problem, they could do that for him...the staff were friendly and professional, can’t wait to come back

Been here for business. Room are ok, furniture not brand new but acceptable. It was pick season with many tourists. Also took dinner which is good level with also vegetarian plates. Toilet is not top with bathtub which I don't like so much. Carpet on the floor not best quality.

Very clean rooms, nice views of the mountain area. A Car is recommended as the hotel is located around 3-4 mins from the nearby town. Very relaxing spa and the petting farm close makes it a unique experience. Wifi wasn't 100%! Very slow and poor reception in certain areas.
