Hotel Fluchthorn

Rezervovali jsme si letos v létě pobyt na Fluchthornu, ale po jedné noci jsme přešli do jiného hotelu. Hotel není hrozné, pokud jde o dobré body: má dobrou polohu, má pěkný vstupní prostor a dobré wellness, které pro nás bylo hlavní atrakcí. Zjistili jsme však, že místnost je pouze „ok“ navzdory prémiové ceně, atmosféra je velmi neosobní a kvalita jídla a služeb je velmi špatná a rozhodně není hodná 4 hvězdiček (ve skutečnosti nám to připomnělo levné balíčkové hotely). Celkově jsme byli velmi zklamaní a nevrátíme se.

We stayed at this hotel in Galtur for one week as a group of 8, spread across 3 rooms, 2 x Alpin and 1 x Delux room - the beds were extremely comfortable and the view of the mountains were breathtaking. The rooms were beautifully decorated and everything in the hotel was very well thought out. Lots of areas to sit and relax in the evenings, including a lovely restaurant, bar and lobby, all with comfortable seats and again beautifully decorated. The hotel was very warm, so you do not need any warm clothing. The rooms have dressing gowns and slippers which can be worn to the pool / spa. The ski bus to Galtur and Ishgl are right outside the hotel as is the ski hire shop. The hotel staff cannot do enough for you. I would highly recommend this hotel!

We weren’t staying at the hotel but visited its restaurant, which was great! One of the best in town, recommend! Fish and entrees were good, as was the daily menu. Very welcoming service and price/quality.

I liked my experience with Fluchthorn. The bathrooms are big, the beds comfortable and the breakfast delicious. I've chosen Fluchthorn (or Galtür in general) because of its closeness to ski pists like Ishgel and the various trekking paths. The hotel is directly on the main street which makes taking the bus for skiing or renting ski equipment (all in proximity of the main street and thus fluchthorn) very simple.

The hotel is relatively new, rooms are nice and location is great. We stayed with 2 small kids for a week incl. half board. Food was ok as well but we totally missed any warmth or hospitality as well as service you would expect from a 4 star hotel (unfriendly or incompetent reception, no help with luggage, nothing for kids at all), particularly considering the price!
