Hotel Tramserhof

This is the best hotel in Landeck (& I’ve stayed in a few). The setting is perfect, tucked peacefully away just up from the town, with spectacular views. Friendly service, excellent food, smart rooms and beautiful traditional decor. Balconies overflowing with flowers. It’s everything an Austrian hotel should be and fantastic value too. We swam everyday in the lake next door. There are wonderful walks from the hotel and they cater for wellness and bikers too. I thoroughly recommend the Tramserhof.

I stayed at the Hotel Tramserhof for 2 nights at the beginning and end of a ski tour in the Silvretta Alps. The rooms were very comfortable with a good bathroom with hot strong showers. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast and evening meals were excellent - the food was very good quality. As previous reviewers have highlighted the hotel is out of town up a steep road which is not on a bus route so you either need a car or to take a taxi from the bus station or the train station which is 3.5km or 45 min walk. I would have given the hotel 5 stars but for two small inconviniences - I had a very early departure (a train at 5.20 from Landeck) but unfortunately there were no taxis available (not the fault of the hotel) so 2 of us left the hotel at 04.15 wearing head torches to walk to the station (at least it was down hill). Also the hotel were not able to provide an early morning wake up call. Apart from these very minor issues the Hotel Tramserhof was a very comfortable hotel with friendly helpful staff and great food.

Just returned from a fabulous week's stay and highly recommend. Lovely Hotel, well situated, with every staff member friendly and professional. The Hotel was immaculately clean throughout and could not be faulted. Easy parking for cars, with undercover parking for motorbikes. A lovely building, which has been very well maintained, with attention to detail apparent throughout. In addition, great menu serving delicious food. You will not be disappointed.

We went here with our ski club for a weekend stay. The hotel was very nice, good rooms (some a bit dated) but otherwise very comfortable. A nice restaurant and breakfast buffet. Friendly staff and relaxing bar area (just a bit strange due to being directly at the entrance area and when another bus group arrived was difficult for them to negotiate past us.) The location of the hotel is not exactly easy for buses to get to as it was located at the top of a hill and very narrow roadway to get there. 2 buses had quite a challenge to maneuver around each other up there in the small parking lot.

What a fabulous, peaceful setting for an hotel. The room was large and airy with a view of the lake.The staff were very friendly and helpful. Dinner in the evening was lovely. All in all it was just perfect.
