Awful customer service really ruined my holiday. I have coeliac disease and cannot eat gluten and while most of the time the restaurant adapted the meals, the issue was around gluten free bread. At breakfast they provided a tasty gluten free roll which was appreciated however when it came to the evening meal, when all other guests were eating bread, when I requested a GF bread roll I was told very curtly that it was for breakfast only. 3 times I asked, even escalating my request to the restaurant manager Claudia, who, like everyone else, rudely said No and walked away. I asked if they had run out of bread, they hadn't, it was just the hotel policy to be discriminatory to guests with dietary (medical) requirements. The customer service here is just appalling, to turn your back and walk away multiple times from a guest with a simple request is so rude and I dont think Ive ever experienced such ill mannered behaviour. When paying the same as any other guest, I would like to think that they could be more amenable to dietary requests. The whole experience made me feel discriminated against and excluded and was totally unnecessary. The service I experienced sums up the season weary attitude of the family that run this hotel, not one of them could manage a smile, let alone a greeting. This was my second and definitely last visit to this hotel, they do not deserve my business. Rooms, in the annexe are very dated and when our bathroom light broke, once again the customer service was not great. We were told they had reported it but the electrician didnt work after 4pm, when i asked for another room to shower in, they did get someone from the kitchen to come and change the light bulb, only after we had complained twice.

The food was amazing, the staff were incredible and nothing was too much for them. I seriously damaged my knee skiing and every single staff member was considerate and caring. Tomas was phenomenal and i can’t remember the lady on receptions name but she was brilliant, even translating for us. I couldn’t thank everyone enough !! Would stay again in a heart beat.

Very good hotel reasonably priced half board, food very good, service very good, Leisure centre and spa very good, ski bus stopped outside door regularly, we stayed in annex across road very quiet, room a bit dated but have found this Austria before but comfortable and updated bathroom. We would definitely return to Hotel Tyrol
