91 Athens Riviera, The Resort

hi we are a family of 3 from singapore and first time in greece. 91 athens riveria just really out of the world - the 2bedroom cabana was so beautiful - and with all the finishing touches, imagine hair straightener, iron steamer. to top it up, the service provided by guest relations agent Satiria was world class - she was extremely meticulous, warm and diligent. she knew i had a phobia for cats and she went out of her way to ensure the cats will stay out of the restaurant during breakfast. it's the hotel that u are happy to spend a lot of time in - rather than roaming in the city. a pity we only spent 2 nights here. the views were awesome around the resort.

We have just returned from 5 nights at this resort and absolutely loved it. The pods are a great size and extremely spacious with all the amenities that you could ask for. The cleaning staff do a brilliant job and the turn down service regularly comes with a treat which is a lovely touch. On the day we arrived it was late and as we had a young child they took us straight to our pod so he could sleep. They had left us some food and drinks as a welcome which was hugely appreciated after our flight. The swimming pools and beach area is beautiful and we also made use of the kids club which was brilliant. I would say that the main swimming pool was very cold which was hard with a young child. I appreciate we are slightly out of season but it was freezing! I had seen comments on here before about the noise so was concerned but it was tranquil and peaceful during our stay and we slept perfectly. The food in the hotel is good but my only criticism is breakfast. They run an a'la carte breakfast which is great but service is extremely slow. We often had to ask 2/3 times to order which is challenging with a toddler who usually has his breakfast as soon as he wakes up. There is also an issue with wasps in the restaurant. The staff say it is because of the season but we ate at the two beach clubs next door and neither had any bees. Overall we would definitely return and recommend!

What a TRULY lovely stay! Do not hesitate to book! The location is about 20min from Athens old city easily accessible by public transport or private car, and 30min from the airport. The resort contacted in advance to arrange transport from the airport, which was a seamless, professional luxury ride. We actually used the service multiple times during our trip to and from the cruise port, another hotel and airport. My husband and I stayed for 3 nights before going on a cruise. The resort is very quiet, private and small with only maybe 30 domes. The rooms, property and the amenities are outstanding. We also stayed at the Four Seasons Astir Palace during this trip, and while I am not suggesting that isn’t a beautiful stay, we preferred 91 Athens Resort and will absolutely stay again when returning. This resort is more boutique and personal. We were vacationing to celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday, and the hotel had complementary flowers, balloons, champagne and a cake in our room on arrival. This was such a pleasant surprise and not expected at all! Everything on this property is clean and very well kept. All the staff were friendly and helpful, check in and check out were a breeze. The front desk were in contact through WhatsApp and would check in from time to time to ensure we were satisfied with our stay. Food was great, although the room service menu was limited and slightly underwhelming. However, this is a VERY minor constructive criticism and not a complaint - the positives greatly outweigh this tiny negative. Barbarossa provides food and drinks for pool/beachside nibbles and breakfast/lunch/dinner - chefs kiss! We had visited Barbarossa Paros a couple years ago, this was the same amazing food with a very much more laid back but elevated vibe. The “rooms” offer all the amenities you could ask for, including hair straighteners and Korres skincare AND sunscreen! The toiletries were high end, we honestly didn’t even use ours that we brought. Turn down service included eye masks and a sweet treat - what!? Yes please and thank you very much!! The pool and beach were impeccable, relaxing, serene, refreshing…just take my word for it. The sunbeds were soft and comfortable, almost couch like and the towels were fluffy beach blankets. We did not use the spa or fitness/tennis facilities, but I am sure they are at the same level as the rest of the resort. I have read some reviews referring to noise and loud music, we did not notice this at all. However, there were ear plugs on each of the bedside tables, we did not need them. If you are looking for more of a party atmosphere, this is not the place. In our opinion, this was an unpretentious, relaxed, small, private, elevated resort looking to please a more discerning clientele and they are doing it well. Bang for buck this is the best resort we have stayed at and we will return. Thank you 91 Athens Riviera Resort for an amazing stay!

Our stay at the hotel was absolutely wonderful. Our room was beautiful and we were amazed by the level of cleanliness and attention to detail. All staff was amazing. Zak the manager was very welcoming from the minute we arrived. Nefeli and Sotiria helped us arrange a fantastic boat trip which was one of the highlights of our trip. Special mention to Christina the housekeeping manager who personally checked our room and made sure everything was perfect for us. Overall true glamorous hotel with exceptional service, immaculate cleanliness and a wonderful team. We would absolutely recommend it to everyone looking for a 5 star experience!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at 91 Athens Riviera. From the moment I arrived, everything was perfect. The hotel is unique, beautifully designed, modern, elegant, and has a fantastic atmosphere. The rooms are stylish, spacious, and extremely comfortable, while the service was exceptional throughout my stay. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help with a genuine smile. The location is also excellent, offering the perfect combination of relaxation and easy access to everything the Athens Riviera has to offer. The facilities, cleanliness, and attention to detail were all outstanding. Overall, 91 Athens Riviera exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay in Athens. Definitely a five-star experience!
