Blue Lagoon Queen

The hotel and rooms are lovely, especially the shower. The pillows are hard, very clean. There are plenty of sun-beds. They are not the best quality. The swimming pools look lovely but they are freezing. I love to swim, but I couldn’t enjoy it. There isn’t a shallow end in any of the pools. They have a small baby pool and a slide park. The beach is nice and the gazebo’s are a nice idea. We booked twice. The food is mostly the same everyday. We had a meal at the Italian 🇮🇹 which was nice. There wasn’t much to choose from on the menu. The staff were very friendly and helpful through out the Hotel. The entrainment isn’t for adults and in a little room downstairs with no bar. They had a trumpet player and singer in the main reception bar. There isn’t anything to do locally outside the hotel. We got a taxi to a village which was € 45 by taxi to Affitos. The place was beautiful. The hotel really needs to think about making their little shop a 5 star shop as it was very poor. The art gallery shop was empty every night. It would be better to turn it into a boutique selling higher quality goods. At least something better than a tacky fridge magnet. The spa was pleasant and very friendly. Just would be nice to find some warm water somewhere. 🥶 the weather wasn’t great this week.

Cannot fault this hotel! Amazing stay in the jacuzzi room which was perfect for this time of year. Extensive cocktail menu for an all inclusive which was amazing! Food was good, staff lovely and attentive, everything clean. Not a bad word to say about this hotel. Thank you Blue Lagoon Queen <3

A wonderful place to relax and recuperate. Was in one of the pool bedrooms and i can say was one of the best places for a while. Food was awesome and if you find it the same each night try not putting it all one plate in 1 sitting. Different nights have something different .Coffee in the morning from machine was not the best though and maybe the machines need spacing out as well. Greek coffee was awesome. The breakfasts were good and so were the 2 themed daytime food points . The pools not heated but no issue for ourselves quite refreshing. The rooms cleaned and the entertainment at night at the lobby bar was awesome .Great duo .Drinks are local and if you want Branded drinks you need to pay extra and that needs putting on website for clarification Staff very attentive and friendly and eager to assist The beach beds a little uncomfortable but passable. One thing i feel needs to be addressed .Smoking on the beach area is not a good idea. Maybe a smoking point aside for the beds as others peoples non concern for others was at times quite paramount .I don't want to smell other peoples smoke esp. in front of me and was very regular. Just an idea . All in all a great place not to noisy when we went or busy but plenty of space and beds so no need to put your towels down and leave for 2 hrs as some at beach did Yes i can say it was a great place and even if in middle of nowhere its does the job

We have just returned after a week at this hotel. Prior to going I was a little concerned as I had searched reviews as I am a coeliac and was worried I would struggle fining something to eat. There also didnt appear to be any recent reviews coving this. I ahve to say hands down... I did not need to worry. I spoke with kristina on guest services on the 1st day and she advised that when attending the 1st meal tk speak with the head chef. I attended the restaurant for dinner that day and was greeted by kristina and the chef (I am so sorry I didnt get his name) the chef was so friendly and walked me around the restaurant advising me what did and did not contain gluten. There is clear labeling on all items in each of the buffet restaurants. I saw the chef a number of times during g our weeks stay and he approached me everytime, shook my hand and ensured I was well informed of what I could and couldnt eat.. this level of service goes a long long way, I could not have been more looked after with my dietary requirements. The food was very tasty with plenty of selection,and a kids buffet also. I would definitely recommend the pork and mushroom dish that was in a white sauce, that was delicious. Kristina also greeted me and my partner each time we saw her and she ensured everything was to our satisfaction, including food and our room. What fantastic customer service. The hotel is perfectly clean, all staff were very polite, pleasent and accommodating. The pools were amazing and provided plenty of room between sun beds, which there was never a shortage of. We went to a few shows and enjoyed them but spent most evenings in the main bar or the beach bar which is open late. Our room was spotless and cleaned each day on request, the usual tea and coffee and restocked each day. The app that you can download for the hotel is also a great bonus. Allowing you to order drinks to your sunbed, book al a carte restaurants and any special request for housekeeping. All in all, I cannot praise this hotel enough, and will hopefully be returning soon. Me and my family were originally booked at the Princess hotel and when we checked in we got told we got upgraded for free to the Queen Hotel and had much bigger rooms. This made our whole holiday even more amazing as we had access to both hotels and their services. The service we received from Eleni was incredible with the upgrade and the personal touch in our room for our anniversary. Beyond grateful. The pool bar staff were so nice and friendly aswell as the lovely ladies from the entertainment team. My children loved the shows every night and my daughter Maya became so close to them. They were great singers and dancers and were so loving towards the kids. The food choices were also great, our favourite restaurants were Nefeli Plaza at the Queen Hotel and the Green & Grill Restaurant at the Princess Hotel. Both were amazing Al-Carte choices. As it was our first trip to Greece, it was the best choice we could have made. We will defiantly come back again.
