Astra Village

We really enjoyed a relaxing stay . Staff are friendly helpful and welcoming. Large clean room with balcony with sea views stunning. Very comfortable bed . We had been a little concerned about some reviews prior to coming about the food. We were pleasantly suprized breakfast and dinner both had a good variety selection to choose and tasty . food was hot well presented and replenished regularly. Only small concern would be cats around when eating at meal times. Hotel, pool and gardens are all in very good clean condition. great sunbeds too. We have stayed in a few hotels in Svoronata over last few years and this is by far the best. Hotel is in a peaceful relaxing setting with local beach 10 minute walk down road and bus stop close by too. We would definitely recommend and have booked again for next year.

Not a good place for people with mobility issues, as up a steep hill, to rooms and restaurants, the food was terrible and cold, you need to book a table for evening meal, all-inclusive was a very poor show and not worth it, families had to pay extra for cots,and they would not make a child a jam sandwich at lunch time, bar prices very expensive, the owners hang around all day watching what is going on, signs say no life gaurd on duty, but there was 1, who looked at his phone all day, cleaners work hard, some bar staff were very good, 1 never smiled, we ate out 8 days out of 14, restaurant across the road was very nice, we hired a car to get about and see the island and use other restaurants, watch out for Ants they are everywhere even in the room and on the bed,even on the 2nd floor, we will not return to Astra Village, but Kefalonia is a beautiful Island, and maybe 1 day we will return.

This was a lovely hotel .nice and hard working staff .rooms very clean .sunbeds are amazing .we were all inclusive and I'm not going to lie the food was not good for a 4 star hotel .which we paid a lot of money for ..the drinks were worse .not much to choose ..the worse was when I was poured a diet coke from a litre bottle that was sitting in the sun .no good just putting ice in a small glass ...we did go out quite a few times for somewhere else to eat ... disappointed with food & drink . everything else was perfect .hats off to the gardener he made your grounds beautiful and not forgetting the many beautiful cats and kittens

What a beautiful place to stay From the moment we checked in we was made to feel welcome , we was given a free room upgrade The suite we had was perfect loads of space , very clean and a beautiful view from our balcony, our room was cleaned daily to perfection We had all inclusive and we cannot fault the food, lots of choices , and cooked fresh . The drinks included with all inclusive was impressive and always tasted amazing The pool area was so relaxing and had beautiful views The sun beds were really comfy and many afternoon was spent relaxing by the pool The staff have been wonderful and have made our holiday really special , nothing was too much trouble and we have been made to feel really welcome Thank you to everyone at Astra village xxx

A clean hotel with polite and friendly staff. Was able to hire a car from them and explore the island. Had a balcony with a view of the sea, The grounds are well-kept and tidy.
