Bessie's Village

We had a very relaxing week in mid September at Bessie’s village with perfect weather , Our room was spotless with a large balcony seafacing . Pool view from front of appartments no D6 . Location very good near to 4 tavernas and supermarket. Very close to airport so quick transfer . Visited Lassi and Argostili on the bus only 2 Euro fare . The beach was lovely small slope to get down . Can recommend Bessie’s village for quiet relaxing holiday .

5th time of staying at Bessies Village and it's never disappointed. Georgia and Vasso and the rest of the team make sure your stay is smooth and without any issues. The pool is excellent too. We stayed in one of the newly refurbed apartments (S2). It was really nice and well presented :) Mind you, all we need is a bed, a shower and a good fridge as we don't spend much time indoors. The room was cleaned and bedding/towels changed regularly. There's a well stocked pool bar that also does food. Can't fault this place and we've already booked for next September :) Dave & Lisa - Room S2

Just returned home from a short stay at Bessie’s Village which we thoroughly enjoyed. Its location is perfect with restaurants and the beach within a short walk. The accommodation is fine… I would have liked a toaster but not having one definitely didn’t spoil our stay. We would definitely return

Perfect to relax. My wife and I stayed here for 7 nights to chill and relax and it definitely did the job. We stayed in room D6 opposite the pool and it was great. Pool area is so clean and never had a problem with sunbeds. Max of 10 mins walk to Ammes Beach (This is so nice) and 10 mins walk to the local tavernas. Great location and staff very friendly too. Would I come back - well that's a big yes.

We had a really nice couple of weeks here. Pros: Good location - nice beach only about 5 mins away or less, supermarket close, a good selection of tavernas. Great views - looking out to the west over the sea. Great sunsets. Close to the airport - minimum travel time. Airplanes whizzing past - we loved seeing this and played airline bingo. There's about a dozen a day, I reckon. Our room was reasonably well equipped and the staff friendly and helpful. Cons - none really if you take into account that you are looking at a basic hotel. If you expect 5* luxury then good luck to you 😀 Food could be improved but this was not a problem as we had stuff from the supermarket for breakfast and lunch and ate out in some great tavernas for dinner. All in all it's a great spot to explore Kefalonia from with a nice handy beach and great views etc. Enjoy 😀
