Eagle's Nest

We had a wonderful stay and would happily return. The studios are in a beautiful location, with the best balcony view we’ve had in four visits to Kefalonia. Sitting outside each morning and evening looking over the sea was an absolute highlight. The pool was also fantastic, everything was spotless, and the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. What really made our holiday, though, was Marina. As a lone parent travelling with my young son, she was like having a second Greek mum looking after us. After our flight was delayed, we arrived exhausted with no energy to go back out, so she kindly arranged for dinner and breakfast and even offered to pay until I had some cash. It was such a thoughtful gesture after a long day of travelling. Throughout our stay she couldn’t have been more caring. She lent us beach towels, found me some Sudocrem when my son developed a rash, and when he pulled a muscle in his neck one morning, I knew that if we needed any help she would have been there immediately. On the day we left, she even gave my son a small gift, which was such a lovely touch. Marina genuinely cares about her guests and makes you feel completely at home. We arrived as guests but left feeling like friends. Thank you for such a memorable stay—we hope to be back.

We loved the eagles nest and every review has been great and describes the place perfectly, with one exception. the air conditioning is set too high and not controllable. Maria has the units set to 24 degrees and this temperature cant be adjusted. Each unit comes with a key fob to switch on or off. the charge is 5 euros a day. I would have paid ten euro's a day if i had even a little control of the temperature and the fan speed.

We are currently here staying at these lovely apartments and absolutely do not want to go home . The location is so beautiful and peaceful. The apartments are well equipped and immaculately clean. The pool is just lovely and doesn’t get busy at all. A proper sun trap too. The view from the room is amazing and you can just hear the waves lapping, such a relaxing sound. All rooms have a sea view. The host, Marina is welcoming and so friendly. She will help you with anything you need. She is always on hand for you. Nothing is any trouble. Such a warm smile and a lovely lady. We can’t recommend this place enough. You have to try it for yourself. We will certainly be back at some point next year. It’s advisable to get a car here. Rooms are basic but comfortable and spotless. Views are 5 star as is Marina. She did everything to make our stay memorable. She booked restaurants and taxis for us and ordered and delivered breakfast when we wanted. I broke the toaster which she replaced without a quibble. The garden and pool area are wonderful and I'll certainly be returning despite the hills. Thanks Marina

Everything that could be said about Marina has been said she is a treasure made our stay at Eagles Nest perfect. We hired a car for the week from the airport so glad we did we toured the island you can walk to beach from Eagles Nest but it’s not for the faint hearted it’s quite steep. The accommodation was spotlessly clean the view was amazing beds were comfortable what more do you want. The pool spotless plenty of loungers again looking out over the bay perfect. We are already planning our trip back to Kefalonia (we have only just landed)and will be without doubt staying at Eagles Nest to enjoy Marinas hospitality again. We have had the best holiday Thank you 🙏
