Eagle's Nest

We had a wonderful stay at Eagles Nest with our family. We chose this place because of the great reviews we read beforehand, and they are absolutely true! The location is perfect, with beautiful views and everything we needed close by. Marina was amazing – so helpful, kind, and always making sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. She truly made us feel at home. Our accommodation was clean, spacious, and ideal for relaxing after exploring Kefalonia. We are already planning to come back again, and we would highly recommend Eagles Nest to anyone visiting Lourdas.

This place is amazing. But it is not the place that makes it is the beautiful Marina, she is so kind and helpful and makes your stay simply the best. Lots of lovely places to eat, beach in Lourdas is just perfect. As others have mentioned it is rather hilly steep hills to be fair but always somewhere to stop on the way back for refreshments. Marina thank you for making our stay fantastic x

Just spent 3 weeks at Eagles Nest my second stay first in 2017. My first half of my stay was as a solo traveller and I was in one of the refurbished rooms with a patio and it was absolutely perfect especially with my frequent visits from the friendly cats and their adorable kittens. Absolutely stunning with amazing views , incredibly well kept property with lovely pool area and Marina is the most warm, caring wonderful lady who works incredibly hard and always has time for a chat.She is always asking if you are OK or if anything you need she is honestly a wonderful lady and I loved our daily chats. My family arrived to join me for second part of my stay and they two couldn't fault the accommodation and they had a room on the middle floor with even better views across to Zante we just couldn't have wished for anything more. We will definitely return to Eagles Nest without a doubt.

What a lovely place to stay! This was located at the top end of the village and Marina looked after us beautifully from the moment when we arrived. Our room was large and modern and it was the nicest bathroom that I have ever had on my trips to Greece with a great shower that was always hot. The views from our terrace were stunning and the pool was very well maintained with sunbed available every day (it wasn’t too busy). We were incredibly sad to leave after our four days and I would most definitely go back.

We arrived late at night so it was dark. Waking up in the morning to the views was amazing and even though I had seen the photos was breath taking. Marina is a lovely host and nothing was too much trouble. Even down to giving us a bottle of wine as the shops were shut! The apartments are clean and comfortable and swimming pool beautiful. The hill is every bit as bad as everyone says but this part of kefalonia is very hilly. We used the lovely local taxi drivers for the uphill journeys. It is a quiet part of the island but stunning. Would def come back and stay again
