Electra Kefalonia Hotel & Spa

The hotel is spotless, and the pool is beautiful. It’s a wonderful place to relax and unwind on holiday. But honestly, what makes this place truly special is the staff. Everyone is incredibly friendly,helpful. 1000/10 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Beautifully appointed. 5* luxury without the fuss. Best bedroom ever; balcony and uninterrupted sea view even from the bed! 20 mins taxi ride from airport so you have to like planes overhead. Not a problem. Clean pool and plenty of sunbeds. Ideal month to visit. Quiet. . Bit isolated so car hire advisable. Good choices on menu; all staff without exception friendly helpful and hard working. Food a joy. Housekeeping first class extremely clean room and luxurious bed linen and towels. Well appointed and spacious bathroom. Guests borrowing paperback library. Reception most helpful. (A downside was having to wait by the road with suitcases in hot sun and no seating for return taxi service to airport. And we did not appreciate the constant so called ‘music’ all day particularly on the poolside. Disco beat snd rap. Not pleasant but ear plugs sorted that during the second week!)

The Electra Kefalonia Hotel & Spa, has many attributes. We visited during the period of late August early September and our accommodation was a room with a private pool both of which were fantastic especially because of the heat. The room and the hotel in general, were kept very clean thanks to the hard working housekeeping staff, in particular Damma and Marianne. Katerina, Cosmos, Chris and Danna in Reception were so friendly and helpful. In the restaurant the Maitre De and his assistant, both called Thomas, as well as the other restaurant staff Artemis, Fontino and Mike were attentive without being overbearing. Also, Konstantinos, Operational Manager was always on hand. The hotel is nicely situated near a beach and sea but is quite secluded. If you do not want to drive, buses run every hour into the capital Argostoli. At breakfast there are freshly cooked eggs along with the usual items of sausages, mushrooms etc. In the evening, the lovely restaurant is very relaxing. Our apology if we have omitted to mention any staff member or misspelled names but be assured, that the customer care skills of all staff in the hotel are better than outstanding. We loved our time at Electra Kefalonia Hotel & Spa. The room was clean and comfortable, and the views were beautiful. Great breakfast, a relaxing pool, and a lovely spa. But what makes this hotel truly special is the staff. We have traveled a lot, and this is the first time we have met so many kind people working together. Kristos deserves a special mention: he gave us really valuable information about the island and even helped us plan our next trip. We recommend Electra to everyone!

My family and I stayed for a week at the end of the 2025 summer season. There was some confusion upon check in as one out of the two rooms was ready but whoever stayed the first night in that room would be moved the following day? Not sure why that happened but the staff were very polite and helpful about it and the manager told us we could have a meal at the restaurant for free because of the mishap. Once we were in our proper rooms we were very impressed. I don’t think I have ever slept in a more comfortable bed! And it was lucky it was so comfortable as the weather didn’t treat us well so a lot of time was spent in the room! I brought my fire stick with me and was able to stream easily on the complimentary WiFi. Had a lovely balcony overlooking the pools and beautiful view of the sea. Breakfast every morning was great a lovely selection and the eggs made to order were fab! Took several trips to the spa and had a couple of treatments which were incredible and well worth the money. The girls in the spa are lovely. Saved our free meal for the last night before heading home and whilst the food may have been slightly fancier than we are used to it was a fantastic experience. We have been coming to Svoronata for years and have seen this hotel be built over the years so it was great to finally get to experience it. And it did not disappoint!
