La Skala Vista

Really enjoyed out stay at La Skala Vista. Were greeted warmly at reception when arriving. Our room had a garden view and was spacious. The bed was very comfy and I wanted to take the pillows home - like sleeping on a cloud. The room had a safe, sofa, quiet A/C, TV, kettle, 2 cups and a fridge - which unfortunately broke down but was replaced within 1/2 hour. Plenty of storage and quite a few coat hangers. The pool area was really nice with comfortable loungers and beanbags, but the shades over the beds was a bit of a problem for me as were static. Breakfast was really nice, toast, tea. coffee, bread, cakes, pastries, bacon, tomatoes, different cooked eggs each day, yoghurt, fruit, juice, cereal. Carlos, Monica and their staff were all very friendly and helpful too. There was toilets and a shower at the pool which was handy as we had a late flight. We were given large towels for the last day too. The La Skala Vista is a short walk to the main street and sea front. All in all we had a lovely time here and would highly recommend.

Already missing the hotel a week back home, it really is the bees knees. Ok , there was a few niggles, but all in all , a lovely place to stay. We stayed in a maisonette, refurbished to a high standard, far too big for the two of us but the only room left when we booked. The staff were extremely friendly and helpfull , also the owners costas and Monica couldn’t be more helpful. We had lunch a few times and the food was excellent. The only problem for us , is that quite a lot of people were using the hotel that weren’t staying there, which ment that a number of times we had to go elsewhere for lunch as no room in the eating area ,even people coming in before breakfast had finished and taking up tables that were needed for guests ,which for us wasn’t expectable, that’s the reason we gave it four stars . Would we return again? To be honest, not sure,

Lovely, nice place great room plenty of room nice little touches great balcony real sun trap. The pool is so nice everywhere well maintained and clean. Bar open during day also snacks I didn't eat here so not sure what the food was like, friendly helpful staff.

A fabulous, super friendly hotel, in a great location, with a brilliant pool & bar area, and clean & modern rooms - close to the heart of Skala and the beaches, but quiet and charming too. Would definitely go again !

We stayed at La Skala Vista for two weeks in June/July 2025. The hotel is in a great location for everything that Skala offers and has nearly everything you need for a great holiday. We had booked hotel and flights separately and didn’t have a choice of room types so were allocated a garden view double room. This was a lower ground floor room so no real sun on the room which made it a little dark but also very cool - appreciated in the high temperatures. However the room appeared not to have been fully refurbished to the standards shown on their website photos. The bed was extremely comfortable but the wardrobe was very rickety - I couldn’t use the two drawers in the wardrobe as they were very stiff and the joints were coming apart. Also the safety deposit box had been removed which concerned us somewhat, even though the receptionist told us she was sure it would be fine when we raised our concerns. The bathroom, whilst big, would benefit from a refurbishment and a shower which is actually fixed to the wall. There was plenty of space around the pool, but we did find it annoying when large groups who weren’t staying at the hotel turned up, took over all the spare sunbeds, leaving nothing for hotel guests, sometimes arriving before breakfast had finished. The food served in the bar was lovely - very generous portions and always beautifully presented. Good choices available at breakfast.
