Nostimon Emar

We had a lovely time in this absolute gem of a small villa complex. Just 6 two storey apartments with well equipped kitchen, double bedroom and double sofa bed in the kitchen/living room. The gardens and pool area were beautifully maintained and the views across the bay towards Zakynthos were stunning. Toni was the perfect host. Very kind and helpful. It truly felt like home after 10 days. Our only small observation was that our double bed was very/too firm, so perhaps a softer mattress topper for each room would be good. There was one, but the kids needed it for their bed as the mattress was a little thin.

We stayed at Nostimon Emar for a few nights with my partner, and we booked the cottage with the jacuzzi. It’s worth noting that the cottage isn’t located at the main accommodation but is about 300m up the hill, so do take that into consideration when booking. The cottage itself was absolutely immaculate – well stocked and had all the necessary facilities we could need. The only downside was that we both felt the jacuzzi was a bit dirty and probably needed a bit more love and attention. The main accommodation has a lovely pool with stunning views overlooking the town and the bay. It’s really well located too, with restaurants and shops all within a 10-minute walk, and the beach just 10 minutes away by taxi or car. Terry, the host and owner, is fantastic. She always goes out of her way to help and give advice, but don’t be alarmed or offended if she’s a bit blunt and straight with you – that’s just her personality! She provides a simple breakfast for €8pp which is more than ample and a shower room is available, should you have a late fight and need to wash up before heading to the airport. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and we would definitely recommend Nostimon Emar as accommodation in Kefalonia. Thanks again, Terry!

I have stayed here on and off for the last 3 years and it is an amazing family run appartments. The rooms are just like staying in a family home and Terry is a wonderful host and couldn't be any more helpful. I will be back in September

It was our first visit to Nostimon Emar but it certainly won’t be our last! Nestled in a secluded location, everything is immaculately clean and well presented. The views, the pool were stunning. We were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived, and treated as part of the family. The food we had was amazing and almost everything is homegrown and homemade! Essentially, if it can be done for you it will. A charming home from home. Teri honestly couldn’t do enough for us. As cliche as it sounds, we honestly arrived as strangers and left as friends.

We had the most amazing stay here. Teri couldn't do enough and was so friendly and helpful. The place is beautiful, with stunning views, quiet and comfortable and very well equipped and clean. The pool is lovely and we loved having our own little garden and a balcony to sit on and enjoy the scenery. The area itself is beautiful and with everything you need only a short distance away. The beaches are stunning and everyone was so friendly. Teri really went above and beyond, from helping us to book a massage (they came to us) to renting a quad to explore the island. It's all the little thoughtful touches that made our stay so magical and we will most definitely be back!
