Tetra Resort & Spa

We had the same experiences a lot of other people with the hotel not actually being ready yet. We managed to get a refund from travelodeal, it wasn’t easy but we did and kept our flights. We are now in Kefalonia at a different resort so yesterday we decided to investigate for ourselves. We started to enter the unfinished grounds which are easily accessible but must be surrounded by CCTV as we were soo accosted by the owners and site security. After explaining to the the issue with ourselves and many others they were keen to show us the issue they had and it was a problem with getting the water supply in and the utility contractors making a mess of it. They then offered to take us round the complex and to be quite honest we were taken aback with the beauty of it and attention to detail. The rooms are beautiful and the views from your bed ( yes the beds are in and waiting ) over the ocean are mind blowing. The water supply is now resolved and they are planning on opening in April/ may next year. It will definitely be worth the wait and the owners are desperate for some good feedback after all their issues. I do think a lot of responsibility lies with the lack of honesty from the tour operators.

I contacted this hotel after seeing other reviews that they had cancelled other booking previously. unfortunately i was already booked. I was assured that the home would be open and ready in time. it is not. I am obviously fuming.

Booked and paid for holiday as advertised through Travelzoo- passed onto Travelodeal! This got cancelled ten days before arrival with 400 other displaced holiday makers. Thus a like for like holiday was not possible unless we increased our budget by 200%. This is called supply and demand. Travelzoo and Travelodeal have spent the last ten days not giving us our refund and just making a bad situation worse. SHAME on all three.
