White Rocks

Here now and totally agree with the previous review. The hotel is stunning . However we came for a lovely peaceful break and were seriously thinking of asking to move hotel. The behaviour in the pool yesterday was awful rowdy all drinking with beer ect in the pool donkey back matches took over the whole pool and young familes shouldn’t have to put up with that. The staff said and did nothing. Wont be back !!!

There is no doubt that this is a beautiful hotel and the staff are the loveliest I’ve ever experienced. The grounds are immaculate and the views are just stunning. The pool area is quite small for the size of the hotel and we did have to be there just before 9am to secure a sunbed. We found the food to be good at breakfast and the evening meal. You were able to change your evening meal for a lunchtime meal instead if you wanted to explore the many restaurants in Lassi or Argostoli but you only got a small exchange on the dinner time menu which didn’t really equate to an evening meal. We were situated in a bungalow (No 50) which was a good distance from the main building. The route is extremely hilly both going to and from the main building, the pool, and down to the beaches. What goes down must come up!’ Having said that it does state that people with mobility issues might find it difficult and they are not wrong! My only criticism is that there were 3 weddings when we stayed and one was a very large party who kind of took over the pool area and were quite rowdy and drinking in the pool which I don’t like and a lot of their guests were from other hotels which made the pool extra crowded. Consequently there were a lot of children which we didn’t really expect as it’s not really geared up for children. I suppose that’s something we couldn’t foresee when booking, just bad timing!! The hotel is gorgeous and the view is equally gorgeous just a bit to steep for someone with a dodgy hip!!

Location is very convenient, especially if you enjoy going to Argostoli in the evening. Local public beach, plati gialos, is a short walk away. Room has all the amenities you need. Very friendly and helpful staff, from the manager Mr. Vagelis to the staff at the restaurant. Restaurant is very good, with amazing views there and throughout the hotel. Good amount of walking to get around the grounds, so keep that in mind. All in all, a great stay.

Great hotel, exquisite atmosphere, outstanding service, best food!

If you are planning a trip to Kefalonia, While Rocks is the BEST hotel on the island! The location, rooms, amenities and staff are exceptional. This is our 5th trip to Kefalonia and White Rocks and we continue to fall more in love with this island and this hotel. The people, food and beaches of this island makes a trip to Kefalonia a fabulous experience and staying at White Rocks only enhances it! Yassas!!
