First things first: Angsana is a lovely hotel in a beautiful setting and the staff were fantastic during our week long stay (family of four with 2 children). We enjoyed the restaurants and cannot fault the service. You definitely feel as if you are in a 5* location and there is a luxurious feel to the whole establishment. Unfortunately a few aspects meant that I would not stay here again Firstly, the pool and sunbed area is insufficient given the size of the hotel and number of guests. It is a nice area with large double 4 poster sunbeds and single ones dotted around the pool but the number available is not enough such that if you arrive any time after around 10am you will struggle to find a free space. It is the kind of space that would suit a much smaller boutique hotel. There is a private beach nearby which you need to take a shuttle to as it is at the bottom of an extremely steep hill. The shuttle ran every 30mins during our stay but as the bus was so small (around 8 seats I think) there were always more people queuing that seats available. The drivers were great and always made return trips to pick up anyone left behind but I think the simpler solution would be to get a larger bus...? The incredible steepness of the hill is actually an issue in itself. Walking up and down it to get to and from the hotel without the shuttle (or a car) would not be an option if you had small children or any kind of difficulty with walking so something to bear in mind. The private beach is nice but very small and not particularly sandy. Again, you might struggle to get a sunbed if you arrive late morning. We visited in May when it wasn't too busy so always managed to find spaces but I struggle to believe this would be the case during the busy July/August period. Our room was lovely but we paid extra for a suite overlooking the sea which I thought would be a quiet space. Instead our room overlooked the very busy and noisy bars and restaurants and so didn't feel worth the extra expenditure. This meant we couldn't keep our balcony doors open as the noise was just too much. I'd also suggest the hotel thinks about how it manages events and large parties. During our stay there was a hen party group of about a dozen women. I have no issue with the group itself but on one occasion we went to the beach and discovered a entire set of sunbeds had been set aside for them. No other guests were permitted to use them even though the group had not arrived yet (and didn't until early afternoon). I honestly thought this was really poor practice on behalf of the hotel. We, along with other paying guests, were shunted to the far point of the beach in order to make way for this group who were given reserved beds. Unacceptable. There was also a wedding during our stay and while I would never begrudge wedding celebrations, the hotel could think about improving the sound proofing in the rooftop bar where receptions take place. The music and noise kept us up until the early hours. I assume there were complaints as the following morning a member of staff proactively asked us if we were inconvenienced by the noise and apologized. As stated at the beginning, this really is a nice hotel but we won't visit again as I don't think it works as a family hotel BUT could be a nice option if you are a couple looking for a luxurious getaway (or planning a wedding/hen!)

Thank you to all the team at Angsana Corfu for making our family holiday one to remember. The hotel is beautifully designed, with breathtaking views over the Ionian Sea and a peaceful atmosphere that makes it easy to relax. We were greeted by friendly, helpful and very attentive members of the team at every turn providing outstanding service throughout our stay We stayed in one of the 2 bedroom luxury villas and I must say it’s our new favourite way to holiday. All the benefits of a 5* hotel and restaurants with the privacy and relaxation of a villa with its own private pool. Most of ours meals were enjoyed in one of the 3 onsite restaurants. The food was delicious with many options available for the family by way of kids and vegan menus. The breakfast offered a wide variety of fresh, high-quality options. The infinity pool and private beach were highlights, offering stunning scenery and a luxurious setting to unwind. Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway or a relaxing holiday, Angsana Corfu is a fantastic choice. I would happily return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Corfu.

We stayed at the Angsana Corfu for seven nights in a one-bedroom villa and had a fantastic stay from start to finish. The hotel is beautifully maintained and spotlessly clean throughout, and the views from the hotel are simply breathtaking. Looking out across the Ionian Sea towards mainland Greece is something we’ll remember long after our holiday. Every member of staff we encountered was friendly, welcoming and professional, striking exactly the right balance between being attentive without ever feeling intrusive. Our one-bedroom villa was lovely, spacious and extremely comfortable. The bed was excellent, ensuring a great night’s sleep every evening. The housekeeping team also deserve a special mention. They were outstanding throughout our stay, consistently going above and beyond to keep the villa immaculate and ensure we had everything we needed. Their attention to detail really stood out and made us feel genuinely well looked after. The food across the hotel was consistently of a high standard, but the Japanese restaurant was the standout. The quality was exceptional and genuinely comparable to some of the fine dining Japanese restaurants we’ve visited in London. The valet parking service was another highlight. Our car was always collected and returned promptly, making it effortless to come and go while exploring the island. We travelled with children, and they were made to feel genuinely welcome throughout our stay. The beach was also excellent – clean, well organised and a wonderful place to relax. If I were being incredibly critical – and I really do mean incredibly critical – the only area I’d look to improve would be the beach shuttle. It currently runs every 30 minutes, and during the busiest times of the day a 15-minute service would make an already excellent experience even better. Overall, we had a wonderful holiday and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Angsana Corfu. We’re already looking at options to return, which is probably the best compliment we can give.
