Grecotel Eva Palace at Kommeno Peninsula

We stayed in Grecotel Eva Palace for our second 5 days of our holiday on Corfu. We were hesitating between Grecotel Eva Palace and next door Grecotel Corfu Imperial. The truth is that Grecotel Eva Palace has some age and it is visible on some feature but we booked Romantic villa with private pool and it was a great choise. The room was very large with terrace, pool in great size, large bed and really well size of bathroom with walkin shower and two basins. There was also small kitchenete as well as wash machine but we didn´t use it. The hotel has large main building and then many bungalows in garden connected with sidewalks and stairs. The beach is smaller some days with not enough sunbeds/sunchairs but the staff here is doing their best to accommodate all requests. So we had our sunbeds every day. There are also two pools with many sunbeds. We stayed with all inclusive. The buffet was fine and there was always plenty of options. Just the A/C in the indoor part of main Mediterraneo restaurant not working properly and there was watter leaking from it to the floor. The La Contessa restaurant where we used to go for lunch had some A/C standing huge machines but again not suitable for the space. Luckily there is very nice outdoor seating. The chef is doing the best I would say. Our experience with the staff was only positive. They were professional but still friendly to give you a very comfortable feeling. So we just enjoyed the time. The downside is their small and quite old fitness room. Also housekeeping could refil the cosmetic items such as cotton pads, cotton buds on regular basis. There were some cats that really didn´t bother during dinner in outdoor part of the restaurants. So no issue for us that some guests mentioned. So would I say it is a luxury hotel....probably not but definitely the hotel has potential to make a bigger impression. But somehow and even now when I think about our days in Grecotel Eva Palace, my memories are still very very positive.

This was our third stay at Eva Palace. Once again we felt at home after 5 minutes. The staff did everything to make us happy. The food was fantastic and the service close to perfect. Our special thanks Mr Themis the food and beverage manager, Christos from the beach bar, Nicoletta at the main restaurant and Sylvia and Maria from the lobby bar. The hotel may be very glad to have staf like them. We love the hotel and its garden, but the many stairs is not for people who have problems with walking. We are already booking our next visit to this fantastic island en this great hotel.

Dear Grechotel Eva Palace, what a wonderful Experience and fantastic Holiday we have had at your Resort.For us ..it is simply Paradise with the most warm Welcome by your most welcoming Manager Kyriaos Daras who always helped us with a friendly smile whatever questions we had.The hotel is just beautiful located with a private beach and lovely tropical gardens.Arcitecture so luxurious.The staff so welcoming and warm and the food is very good.The various Restaurants soo romantic.The Villa we had with a private pool...wow..amazing.I really highly recommend this lovely special hotel .We will definitely come back..Thank you and your staff making us feel so relaxed and happy.Warmest wishes Margitta Preston

We have just had the most wonderful week here at Eva Palace. Hotel itself is stunning, grounds are immaculate and are room was clean and comfortable. We were there in a half board basis and the food choices in the main restaurant was vast and excellent quality. We visited the Sticks and Sushi restaurant on the grounds and the food was stunning. But most of all the staff were fantastic. Everyone was so friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay so memorable. Everyone from housekeeping, Silvia Maria in the Lobby Bar was wonderful, the lifeguards, and all the wonderful restaurant staff…you work hard. Thank you. We will be back again!

We’ve stayed at other Crecotels in Crete so we know we like their hotels. Eva Palace in Corfu was just what we hoped for. Our room had a stunning view of the sea and we would often start the day with a coffee on our balcony. The staff are very polite but not overly friendly but they create a relaxed environment. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The beach was my favourite place, calm cove like feel with spectacular mountain back drop, it felt like a lake instead of open sea. Olive trees behind the sun loungers provided good amounts of shade. But there are spots in the full sunshine if you want them. The seafood restaurant at the sister hotel, The Imperial is a must and the hotel will arrange free transport there. The only thing I would change is the variety of food in the main restaurant is a bit same and be prepared for wasps if you choose to eat outside. The beach waiters were very helpful and the lunchtime snacks were delicious. Drink prices are reasonable too. All said a great holiday. Thank you
