Kerkyra Blue Hotel & Spa

We had a lovely week at this hotel. The food for all inclusive was actually very good, plenty of variety. The Japanese was lovely but a lot of food (set menu). The Greek was good also, but again lots of food and a set menu of around 5 courses. You need to book the Japanese and Greek when you get there but we didn’t struggle to change our reservation. The main buffet restaurant always had fresh food and Different options,,so much fresh salad, meats and cheese etc. just a lot of variety, can go to the snack bar at the other pop which has Gyros and pizza every day. Both were lovely, fresh stone baked pizzas, ice cream. There isn’t much of a beach but the view of the sea is beautiful. Plenty of sun loungers across both pools, not your typical plastic ones either. Night time entertainment was ok, plenty of space to sit outside and the bar tenders are brilliant, you don’t need to get up.. please tip them they work so hard and don’t expect anything in return, they are always so thankful for tips. We got taxis into old town Corfu which is a must, so lovely there. 20 euros each way which is quite expensive, there is a bus but we didn’t bother as it was the other side of a main road. The rooms are spotless, we opted for a sea view room and it was lovely. They clean your room every day and top up your mini bar. There isn’t a mad dash for sunbeds bur I would say get clean towels each evening when you hand your dirty ones back as the towel place doesn’t open until 9 and that might be late to get a good spot especially if you have kids in and out of the pool. Everyone seemed to do this, we went down at 8 and always managed to get a good bed. We done a day trip to Albania but sorted this ourselves as it works out much cheaper. Overall for a family of 4 with x2 15 year olds we had a great time… plenty big enough, zero complaints on food which was my main concern with being all inclusive: will definitely be returning. Also the cocktails they make are 10/10.. especially at night time when you order from the main bar. We don’t have small children but they have another section over looking the sea which has a small pool gated, with sun loungers, a park. This is ideal for small ones not getting out and running off.

I’m not one for leaving a review if you get what you pay for! However, this time I am! This hotel was amazing! I went as a single parent with two teenage daughters. The staff are approachable and friendly! The hotel is clean and tidy. The food was next level! The buffet was always fresh and so tasty, the Greek restaurant was a delight but for me, the stand out dining experience was the Japanese restaurant. The wine was nice, sometimes it can be a bit ropey in an all inclusive! And although we went during peak season, there were always sunbeds available - we did tend to be around the pool straight after breakfast just after 9am - not sure you would want to leave it any later! Our whole week was a pure delight and I look forward to a return trip soon!

We stayed here after being on a tui cruise and so glad we did. The room was spacious, clean, the food is superb and drinks match this. All the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. There is an onsite shop and lidl just down the road. All the all inclusive drinks are excellent with a mini bar in your room which is included. You'll need to get a taxi to get to Corfu old town.

We really loved our week away and would happily return. The top marks for us were the staff and food. Ground were beautiful and we felt so welcomed. Not too busy and nothing was ever too much trouble. Anastasia in the restaurant needs a big mention for her Greek warmth and service along with everyone else in the hospitality team. The food was out of this world and we all felt so cared for. The only negative was the view from our room, picture added, but not enough to be a problem and the beach area although the sea was lovely. Yes you can stay other places which have better beaches and bigger rooms but we were happy. The change from the afrobeat music played on first few days at the pool was welcomed - not that we didn’t like it but it was repetitive. Our restaurant highlight art from the main buffet was the Japanese. So delicious. Th Greek was ok - just a lot of food not eaten as it was served so quickly. We loved the full moon party and Greek night also enjoying the chilled vibes in the bar. Something for everyone! Final thoughts: the hotel ducks were a funny highlight, the snack bar impeccable, drinks great as I don’t drink a lot so plenty non alcoholic. The view over to Albania and Greek mainland was gorgeous and the proximity to corfu town which is one our favourite places was a reason we picked this hotel. Also to the airport. We travelled with a 12 and 15 year old and they had a great time. We will return and get interconnecting rooms next time as kids are getting bigger!
