My sister and I booked a late deal here for a week. We were looking for a relaxed week in the sun and got just that! We arrived quite late at night and had a lovely friendly check in by the gentleman at reception. He talked us through the hotel and where we could find everything before checking us in. We arrived at our room and found that there was an issue with the lock on the door. We were handed a manual key to secure the door until maintenance could resolve this which they did promptly. The room itself was nice, two beds, dressing table, storage and a nice bathroom. We sat by the pool near reception and found that we had no issues grabbing a sunbed, these were lovely and comfortable. We got sun right up until 6pm here so could enjoy a long day outside. The pool is big and perfect for swimming as-well as relaxing. Although it was a little bit cold with it being October. The poolside toilets could do with a revamp, but you don’t spend much time in there so it’s not a huge issue! I travelled with a relatively picky eater and I will eat almost anything and neither of us struggled or got bored with the food options here. It is a small hotel with a small restaurant but it offers everything you could want for breakfast lunch and dinner. There were plenty of more authentic Greek options for you to try too. I’ve seen this mentioned before and I do agree that the pizza here was fantastic. There were self service drinks including beer and wine available in the restaurant. Throughout the day there were also snacks available at the bars so you are kept well fed! The fitness room here is by the seating area in the restaurant, it is very basic and we didn’t bother using it. If you would like to stay active there is aqua aerobics 6 times a week and the surrounding area is safe (and beautiful) so go for a run/walk or rent a bike. Sami on the entertainment team works hard and tries to get everyone involved without being pushy and does a great job. The evening entertainment is laid back but is nice for a quiet evening and the gent at the bar in the evening is lovely and always made sure we had nice cold glasses for our beer! The lady with the blonde hair in the lobby bar (I didn’t catch her name) was lovely and had a smile for everyone, and loved joke about collecting her ‘trophies’ from us when she collected the empty glasses! Location wise you have a small shop across the road and a larger supermarket 5-10 minutes away. You are 5 minutes from a small area with bars and restaurants and the beach which is nice for a wander. There is a bus into Kos town from the end of the road for about 2euros each way too. There is a small shower room downstairs by the pool if you have a later pickup which worked out for us, there’s no booking system for this so at peak times it might be a bit chaotic, some guests just chose to keep their rooms on a late checkout to avoid this. There were small improvements that could be made to this hotel, because no hotel is perfect! We found the beds to be very uncomfortable in our room. The double bed being far too soft and the single bed being far too hard. But we just alternated nights in each bed, it’s difficult to get a mattress right that will suit every guest. The pool could do with a bit of music for ambience as it is completely silent when the entertainment team aren’t around- again this is personal taste as some people seemed to like how quiet it was. The beer here wasn’t great but it was drinkable (and we certainly drank enough!) but I heard the cocktails were great. The poolside toilets are a bit dated and the shower room could do with being a bit bigger to give you space to get dressed… but they work so it’s not a huge problem. Overall we enjoyed our stay here a lot and said we’d have no issue coming back if we were in the area. It’s small hotel run with a small team but they do a good job and we left having had a relaxing week in the sun!

We have recently returned from 2 weeks at the Agean Bay. It was a last minute booking at a reduced price and a chance to catch some late summer sunshine. The transfer from Tui was not good, being the 7th drop off and meaning we arrived at the hotel at around 8.45pm. However we were greeted on the hotel steps and swiftly given our wristbands. We were advised to leave our cases in Reception and go straight to the dining room for dinner as it closed at 9.00pm and then check in later. This was a very kind gesture and much appreciated. This initial friendliness was echoed throughout the hotel with each member of staff we met. The service, buildings and grounds were very reminiscent of the old style family run apartments and tavernas of the 1980's and 1990's, a little rough around the edges and not the modern hotel with a new feel and polished waiter service more common these days. The all inclusive package includes red, white and rose wine though not sparkling from a self service dispenser in the restaurant and bar at lunchtimes. Beer is also via self service in the restaurant. There is also a fizzy drinks dispenser though the quality of drinks was poor. We had a large bottle of water on arrival and after refills were available from the bars with no problem at all. There was a decent, albeit basic, selection of food at breakfast lunch and dinner. We had some lovely typical Greek dishes. The meats and salads were authentic Greek which is sometimes missing from more expensive hotels. We spent our time by the veranda pool which was very quiet and suited us down to the ground though we would have preferred the music to be quieter. The pool opened at 10.00am and closed at 6.00pm. Fresh fruit is available after 11.00am. You are charged for pool towels at quite a high rate so bring your own. We had a drink on the veranda after dinner and again it was very quiet due to the time of year. There was entertainment most evenings at around 9.30pm. We booked this holiday at short notice at a reduced price and we got exactly what we were expecting. It was a lovely break with a relaxed friendly vibe. We would visit again at this price but certainly not at the price Tui are advertising for next year.

The staff on reception were very welcoming & helpful. We did enjoy the food but there could have been a bit more of variety. The drinks were okay but you do have to pay for certain drinks, they are not all included in the all inclusive package. The beach was a 5 minute walk and was lovely to have a walk down there in the evening with the sunset 🌞☺️ Rooms were basic but you could tell they were trying to improve things. Wouldn't go back only because we like to visit different counties & hotels. Nice & cheap for a week away in the sun 🌞 If you want to go to a shop I would suggest not the one across the road. If you come out of the hotel and take a left follow the road down and you will see a shop to your right , it's seems to be cheaper & bigger with more to choose from.
