Aegean Bay

This is the best hotel I have ever been to in a very long time.The staff go above and beyond for you we cannot thank them enough.The hotel grounds are beautifully kept and our room was very spacious and well equipped with all the necessitie, mind you we were there for a week. The best thing of all though was the food. I have been to many all inclusive hotels over the years and this hotel has the best one, full of flavor with fresh products. The hotel has two pools one is the quiet and the other has all the morning entertainment, both are kept very clean. Thank you to all the staff for the amazing memories we will certainly return

We were given our wristbands straight away when we arrived (before checkin) and our room was ready which was great. They also let you keep your band until you leave which was a relief as we had a late flight. Room was small but good, decent amount of storage and the bed in block A was very comfy (maybe a little too soft). Virtually every balcony faces north and is in the shade the whole time so your stuff takes ages to dry. Food was pretty good. Breakfast you can just ask the egg guy for a fresh omelette and he will make you one no issues. The toaster is terrible, they really need one of the hotel style ones (it is literally a 4 slice toaster). There is a theme each night for food but they do repeat with exactly the same meals. The fresh pizza and the food truck are great. Drinks were, imo, too alcoholic to the extent we found the cocktails undrinkable. I asked for less alcohol and they didn’t understand. Marmari is small with not a lot to do but the beach is lovely. I would absolutely come back to Kos but I would not stay here purely because Mamari is too small for me. If you moved the hotel to Kos town or Kardamaina I would stay here again as it’s pretty good for the price.

We had a nice time but I feel that there definitely are parts of this hotel that’s needs to be improved. Food Food okay but if you don’t catch it when it’s just been cooked it’s cold and have to warm up in the microwave Breakfast okay just the normal, could do with an omelette section made to order Lunch again okay nice pizzas Dinner - sometimes had to queue but didn’t have to wait long. Grill was nice but made the restaurant really smoky In my opinion too much pork Drinks Spirits were awful the worst I’ve had in an all inclusive Wine okay Beer okay Soft drinks awful we went to supermarket and brought back to the hotel Rooms were okay had everything you need but smell from drains was bad Pool areas nice never went in pool as was cold but could always get a sunbed Entertainment not to my taste we ended up going out a few evenings Didn’t know there was anything going on throughout the day as never saw anybody asking us to join in Unfortunately would not return

Just returned from a week stay at the Aegean Bay. Had such a lovely week. The hotel itself is very well maintained. You see staff from morning to night cleaning and maintaining areas. We stayed in building B which is next to the Lobby pool. We really enjoyed being around this pool as this is where the entertainment team hold aqua classes and water polo (which gets very competitive) all the guests got involved and everyone was on first name basis which I thought was really nice. Plenty of sun loungers to go around however you need to be up early to get a towel down or you would be sat in the shade all day!! The hotel states you can not reserve sun loungers but they don’t manage it very well. The rooms are well kept with tea and coffee and a mini fridge. The beds, I found to be quite uncomfortable and this did effect my ability to sleep but also wasn’t a major issue. Mattresses are VERY firm. Food was ok. There’s not much of it but what they did have was ok. We mainly ate from the grill where there was pizza and 3 other options depending on the theme for the evening. We chose to eat out quite a lot in the evenings just because of the lack of variety. Local area is lovely although there is a lot of building works going on. Very short walk to the beach where you will find a couple of bars. You can use the sunbeds on the beach all day for free as long as you buy a drink!! We loved the tiki bar and Artemis. We ate from both bars on 3 different evenings. Supermarket up from the bus stop was lovely. We bought snacks for our room and milk for the fridge from here. Bus stop to Kos is at the end of the street. Plenty of buses coming through and it’s only €2.50 per ticket. We went one evening to Kos and ate at Select restaurant which was amazing. Overall we had a great time just me and my son. Would I recommend. YES Would I go back. Maybe. Pros… great location, friendly staff, lovely beach, very clean, great atmosphere Cons….Beds were not overall comfy, restaurant could have had more of a selection of food. The soft drinks were not branded (rola cola) Heads up there is a tourist tax to be paid when you arrive. We were charged €10 per night. Thanks for having us!!!

Honestly can’t complain with this hotel! Great location by the beach, nice clean hotel with modern rooms, nice pools , food was great and different each day. Staff were lovely . Great holiday , definitely 4 star hotel
