Excellent stay. Friendly and helpful staff. Hotel very clean. Selection of food was very good. Short walk to the beach. Bus stop outside hotel that takes you straight to Kos town. Would recommend for couples.

Very disappointing – especially if you enjoy good food We stayed at Aegean Bay, Marmari, Kos, from 30 August to 13 September 2026, and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. The food was appalling. The same dishes seemed to appear night after night, with very little variety, and much of it was so salty that it was difficult to enjoy. After a few days, you start wondering whether the kitchen has discovered the existence of a salt shaker with an on/off switch. The dining experience wasn’t particularly enjoyable either. At meal times, some guests seemed to descend on the buffet as though the food was about to disappear forever — pushing, rushing and filling their plates. It certainly didn’t create the relaxed holiday atmosphere you would expect. And if you’re booking a holiday for your taste buds, believe me, they will be screaming to go back home long before you do! The entertainment was also very repetitive, with much of it feeling like the same thing over and over again. And just when you thought you could sit back and enjoy the same boring entertainment for another evening, there was another little surprise — the wooden decking actually bounces when people walk across it. Sitting watching the entertainment while the floor underneath you is constantly moving every time someone walks past can be more than a little off-putting. Perhaps it’s their alternative to an evening amusement ride! Another issue was the pool bar area. Because it is situated in the lobby, guests coming in from the pool naturally bring water in with them, leaving the floor extremely wet. We mentioned this to staff, expecting it to be taken seriously, but unfortunately the response was essentially to laugh it off. Not exactly reassuring when you’re talking about a wet floor in a busy area. Overall, there were simply too many things that fell short during our two-week stay. A holiday should be relaxing and enjoyable, and unfortunately this one became more memorable for the wrong reasons. Marmari itself is a lovely location, but based on our experience, we wouldn’t choose Aegean Bay again and would struggle to recommend it to others.

Agean Bay hotel was clean and welcoming - all staff we came into contact with were polite and helpful. Our room was kept clean by one of the Indian staff he was very respectful and courteous . One day we came back to find an elephant made out of towels on our bed a lovely touch . The hotel has two nice pools but the first 7 days we were here we could not get near a lounger as there were guests leaving towels from early am and not using the lounger until later. One morning I counted 10 pairs of loungers with towels on and no one on them before breakfast and after breakfast going past they were still empty . There is a notice saying about putting towels on loungers but obviously they were ignored . We met another couple who said the same thing but they had started putting towels down to ensure they got by the pool. A case of can’t beat them then join them. Another point the food was plentiful and lots of choice fresh cooked things daily but the dining room was busy and noisy lots of movement in front and behind you and we felt we couldn’t relax eating our dinner. we also had to queue several nights I spoke to the Restaurant manager on our last day as we hadn’t experienced this in 2024 and he told me there is another restaurant on site being completed so guests will be able to choose to go there one night a week therefore maybe lessening the amount of people in one restaurant . It’s a difficult one as on holiday no one likes restrictions on when they eat . Other than this it’s a nice hotel perfectly situated for the beach and a bus service to Kos Town. A lovely evening trip to Zia to watch a good sunset we also had dinner there . There are activities by the pool to be enjoyed but we never made it to the pool on our 10 day holiday . The appearance of the hotel lobby is very pleasing and there are some lovely comfy sofas to sit on to relax and have drink at the end of the day. The reception staff are helpful and welcoming .

Fabulous hotel, just stayed here a week with friends and everything was great. Hotel decor beautiful, spotless throughout, great bedrooms and shower couldn’t fault anything. The hotel staff all friendly, helpful and polite, George in the restaurant is a great guy and extremely attentive and helpful. Salad bar amazing and a good choice of food, if you can’t find anything then you shouldn’t go all inclusive. Would highly recommend, don’t normally do all inclusive in Greece but enjoyed our stay very much. Entertainment team are friendly not pushy and a nice choice of activities if you want to join in. We had a really lovely stay at Aegean Bay Hotel. The hotel has a very relaxing atmosphere and is in a good location, only a few minutes’ walk from the beach, with shops nearby. The hotel itself is very clean and appears to have been recently refurbished. The rooms and bathrooms were modern, fresh and well maintained. There are two swimming pools and the whole place feels calm and well looked after. The food was also very good, with a nice variety and different themed dinners such as Greek, Mexican and Indian nights. Everything tasted fresh and there was always enough choice. The staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming, and the entertainment team did a great job despite being a small team. Wi-Fi was also very good throughout the hotel, which was a big plus. Overall, I think Aegean Bay offers very good value for money and is a great choice for anyone looking for a clean, comfortable and relaxing holiday. One small tip for future guests: bring your own reusable water bottle, as you receive one bottle of water on arrival and after that water is mainly available from the restaurant or bar in paper cups. Also, if you plan to use the pool or beach, it is worth bringing your own towels, as there is no towel laundry service for pool or beach towels. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend this hotel.
