Cabana Blu Hotel & Suites

We had originally booked another 5 star hotel in the same area but a few weeks ago I started to have doubts and felt I wanted somewhere smaller for our family holiday so I changed to Cabana Blu as it is a boutique hotel. I am so glad I did. The hotel is wonderful and as everyone says it’s the staff who make it exceptional. Particularly the reception staff who are very helpful and the bar staff who are flat out all night making cocktails but always smiling and friendly. Rooms: We had a sea view and our two older teenage girls had a pool/side sea view and a view of the mountains. The beds are very comfortable and I thought the rooms were very stylish, well maintained and cleaned to a high standard every day. Food: as well as the great cocktails the food is exceptional. I don’t understand how anyone could find fault with any of the buffet selection because there was so many different things on offer every night. We also dined in the Asian and the Mediterranean à la carte restaurants and both were amazing. I liked that there was a dress code in the restaurants. The beach: this is a small beach but it is charming and the sea (which is actually very easy to access via steps) is wonderful but I always think the sea around the Greek islands is truly the best in the world. We spent all week on the beach so it would be wrong of me not to mention Paris who works so so hard delivering drinks on the beach in the heat all day and yet he was always very cheerful and he has an amazing memory for the orders even when it was busy. Finally, as I and others have said, the staff are truly wonderful but I want to say thank you in particular to Vivvi who is just such an asset to the hotel. She is so kind and also very knowledgable. I didn’t see her when we left yesterday but I hope she sees this and knows how great she is. She made our week there extra special. We will be back.

Having stayed twice at Cabana Blu, we love it! It’s very chilled, perfect for tanning by the pool or accessing the sea… the vibe is great day or night! The location is great, you’re close to plenty of restaurants and it’s only a short walk to the crossroads with plenty more shops / restaurants etc. The rooms are nice, air-conditioned and comfy to sleep in. Always very clean. The staff are very friendly and will always endeavour to help. My only criticism of Cabana Blu is that at lunch times, there seems to be some prejudice over dress code. I noticed lots of people in sarongs/bikini tops/shorts whereas I was constantly told off and made to feel uncomfortable by one particular female member of staff. At the end of the day, I’m on holiday and having all inclusive lunch isn’t the ritz.

it was my partners and i’d first holiday together, this hotel was amazing, we couldn’t even say there was one member of staff who were amazing because they all were, we have both been on family holidays to other hotels and both agreed that this hotel was the best ever , we loved it that much that we have booked up again for next year and can’t wait for this amazing service ,we have recommended this hotel to our friends and family as well
