⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 – A Relaxing, Luxurious Stay with Exceptional Service We had a wonderful stay at Diamond Deluxe and would happily return. The attention to detail throughout the resort is outstanding, from the beautiful embroidery on the napkins, pillows and dressing gowns to the artwork displayed around the hotel and on the exterior walls. Everything feels thoughtfully designed and very well maintained. An arrival a welcome drink is offered & you are transported to your room in a golf buggy. A ‘bar’ in your room offers a fridge, one complimentary bottle of water, red wine & prosecco & houses the espresso coffee machine. Unlike other 5 star hotels, the water is not replenished daily & costs around €3 from the onsite shop. The cleanliness was exceptional. The public areas were spotless at all times, and it was clear how hard the staff work to keep the hotel looking pristine. Whether in the restaurants, around the pool and bar areas, or housekeeping, there were always plenty of staff on hand, all of whom were genuinely friendly, professional and happy to help. This is exactly the level of service you’d expect from a five-star hotel. Breakfast is served à la carte, and there are two restaurants to choose from for dining in the evening. Peruzzi is upstairs with views over the sea & downstairs overlooking the pool is the Emerald. The quality of the food was excellent throughout our stay. The menu in Peruzzi doesn’t change but in the Emerald there are daily delicacy changes. If you’re half board expect 5 courses, plus an amuse - bouche & pre dessert. Don’t use the scales in your room 🤣 The only minor criticism is that the courses were sometimes served a little too quickly, which made meals feel slightly rushed. One thing to note is that anything purchased at the bar or shop goes onto to your room account for payment at the end of the week - caution not to rack up a bill. They do charge €4 euros for a small bucket of ice! There was entertainment most evenings offering background music or a singer. This stops around 11.15pm & the bar remains open until 1am. These are very laid back evenings here & it was perfect for us. We didn’t use the spa, however it appeared to offer everything you need for treatments. It’s here you change your beach/pool towels. Our room was spacious, airy, immaculately clean and had excellent air conditioning. We stayed in Room 402, where the sun reached our swim-up terrace from around midday until the evening. The swim-up pool was a real highlight, with our own sunbeds leading directly into the water and a private patio with a table and chairs. We spent our mornings relaxing on the beach before returning to enjoy the afternoon sunshine on our terrace. Wardrobe storage was great with ample hangers. The only comment would there wasn’t much space for swimwear or smaller clothing items, and a couple of hooks in the bathroom for hanging used towels would have been useful. A wooden drying rack is provided and can be placed outside, which helped with drying swimwear. For guests not staying in a swim-up or private pool room, there were still plenty of comfortable sunbeds around the fabulous main pool, so it never felt overcrowded. The beach is directly across the road and has waiter service, along with plenty of shaded sunbeds. While it was convenient and well serviced, it’s a pebbly beach rather than a sandy one, so it wasn’t our favourite part of the resort. Bring swim shoes! The location is quiet & we like this. A bus to Kos Town costing just €2 or a taxi around €10, making it easy to explore. We took a worthy trip to Zia to watch the sunset & have dinner - stunning little village in the mountains. * Beautiful, luxurious hotel with excellent attention to detail. * Immaculately clean throughout. * Outstanding, friendly and attentive staff. * Excellent food and à la carte menus. * Spacious, comfortable rooms with great air conditioning. * Fantastic swim-up rooms. * Plenty of sunbeds around the pool and beach. * Easy access to Kos Town. Overall: Diamond Deluxe is a beautiful, relaxing hotel with exceptional service, excellent
This is a little gem located in Lambi. This is now our 3rd time at Diamond Deluxe and we loved it as much as we did when we first stayed here in July 2024. We will be back again in July 2027. As a couple we highly recommend booking a swim-up room with terrace, it's like your own very little apartment with pool side access and your own double sun loungers/umbrella dedicated to your room. Rooms are kept very clean, daily and towels changed daily (when requested) We loved it. The breakfast is superb and amazing quality which sets you up for the entire day until early evening dinner. We rented two bicycles and cycled into Kos Town every evening, it's a short cycle of no more than 10 minutes on dedicated (safe) cycling lanes from directly outside the hotel all the way into Kos. Great keep to burn off all the good Greek food and drink. This hotel is very quiet and relaxing and great for those that prefer to be away from the noisy Kos Town. You can take it or leave it so to speak. The hotel isn't cheap, however you get what you paid for (it's good value for money based on what is provided) and this place we believe will ensure you can re-charge your batteries ready for returning to normal life again feeling refreshed and wanting to go back. All the staff at hotel are very friendly and the service is always prompt and flawless. The atmosphere is relaxed and quiet. You will get a good nights sleep as we have never experienced any noise throughout the night from other guests. We can't wait to go back in July 2027 and will be booking a swim-up room with terrace again!
Spent a week there, stayed in a swim up room. The hotel is fabulous, the rooms were superb. We had our own loungers right out side on patio , steps from the huge fantastic pool. We had bed and breakfast there , the breakfast had everything you could want, hot/cold choices, eggs to order. We were looked after most mornings by Megi, who was one of the best servers we have ever had . We had drinks at the bar in the evening but eat out in Kos town or local taverna down the road . Fabulous hotel
We booked a week bed and breakfast at the Diamond deluxe hotel. Check in was easy and quick, paid the tourist tax. Was taken to our room 506 by golf cart. Room was clean and bright. Comfy bed and good shower. A downside is there was not enough storage, one wardrobe. They could replace the 2 side tables with something with draws. Also nowhere to hang anything in the bathroom apart from a ladder that everyone put outside to dry swimwear and towels. Plenty of comfortable sunbeds, no need to reserve one. Breakfast was very good, lots of choice. We didn't use the 2 restaurants for evening meals. A good pool bar with friendly staff. The guys come round the pool and beach area to take drink orders. There is a small onsite shop. The beach area needs a refresh, just looked a little bit unloved. On our first night we went to reception to book a taxi, we were told to grab a drink and they will come and get us. We waited for 40 minutes, I went to ask how much longer and was told the job was still pending. We found out there is only 60 taxis for the whole island. If the hotel laid on a shuttle bus that would be of great help. The bus from that night was our mode of transport into Kos town. Getting a taxi back was a little easier. You could walk but it is about 55 mins. The hotel was lovely and quiet.
Stayed for 7 nights B&B in a swim up pool room, room was beautiful and to walk out and there the pool was , biggest pool we’ve ever had , staff were amazing always there if you needed them , breakfast was amazing everything you could wish for .
