Nicolas Grand Suites

Fantastic hotel, stunning room (hot tub suite), wonderful food, beautiful sea views but the staff are what make this hotel special. Eva our Housekeeper kept our room spotless and was warm, friendly and discreet. Alex was so attentive at breakfast service and his Strawberry Daiquiri’s are THE best. Stavros warmly welcomed us on arrival and throughout our stay after come back to the hotel late evenings, and so many other professional, happy & friendly staff to mention them all individually. I only have one negative comment and that is that storage for clothing is quite limited if you are a couple on a 2 week holiday, but it is manageable given all the other positives about this hotel.

The location of this hotel is great, close to the beach and other amenities and not nearby anywhere really loud! The hotel itself is quite small, the staff were really friendly, helpful and the hotel was very clean and modern. We did find that the breakfast was repetitive and this definitely could be changed, the pool was freezing which is likely due to the location of the pool being overshadowed by the hotel until midday. The gym area was poor, there was 3 machines, the treadmill which was jolty and the belt definitely needed servicing, the elliptical machine which neither me or my partner could get to actually work and the stationary bike which was probably the only machine that worked properly. There was 3 different kettlebell weights and 2 dumbbell weights but the space was so small you couldn't get a good workout in. We did have an issue with the toilet in our room which was fixed the same day, our room was lovely and spacious however we did feel that the shower screen was a bit small with the shower being very high on the wall.

We recently stayed here for a holiday and had a wonderful experience. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway with top-tier cleanliness and friendly service, this place is hard to beat. Location: The location is brilliant. It’s only a quick 5-minute walk to the nearest beach, Banana Beach, which is a lovely little spot. Plus, you have plenty of hotels and restaurants right on your doorstep as you head straight into Kardamena. Location: The location is brilliant. Rooms & Pool Area: Despite being close to everything, the hotel itself is wonderfully quiet and peaceful. The beds are of a high quality and very comfortable for a great night's sleep. We also had zero issues getting a sunbed—the pool area stays pleasantly quiet most of the time. We recently stayed at Nicolas Grand Suites in Kardamena, Kos, and had a fantastic experience overall. The Service & Staff here are an absolute 100/10! The superb staff are incredibly welcoming, professional, and attentive. The hotel is super peaceful, making it a brilliant place to relax. A massive bonus was that there was no morning dash for sunbeds—you could always find a spot easily. Our room was modern and kept exceptionally clean and well-maintained throughout our stay. The food was excellent with great flavors and a wonderful variety to choose from. It is worth noting that the pool was very cold during our visit, which made it a bit difficult to fully enjoy a swim. The only real downside was a lack of wardrobe and hanging space in the room. If you have lots of clothes to hang up, storage feels a bit limited. Despite the chilly pool and the limited hanging space, the incredible service, modern rooms, and stress-free pool area make this an excellent hotel. We would definitely recommend it!

Such a lovely hotel and an amazing team ❤️ We’ve just come back from staying here and I honestly can’t recommend it enough. One thing that really stood out to us was when we first arrived. Our coach dropped us off quite late, and out of all the hotels we passed, ours was the only one that had someone waiting at the entrance for us. Paris was there to welcome us, help with our luggage and make sure we were okay. It was such a lovely touch after a long journey. Paris has honestly been brilliant throughout our whole stay. Always friendly, helpful and accommodating. He works so hard and is a real credit to the hotel. You can tell he genuinely cares about the guests. Alex also deserves a mention always smiling and happy to help as do Miltos and Stavros, who have all been so friendly and welcoming. I think the owners must have created a really positive atmosphere for their staff because it definitely comes across. Everyone seems happy to help and that makes such a difference. The hotel itself is absolutely spotless. The cleaners deserve a special mention too because they really are the unsung heroes. Our room was kept beautifully clean throughout and always felt like it had just been done, even though they work around the guests and their schedules. The location is beautiful. You get the sea and the mountains, and it feels like you’re actually in Greece rather than somewhere that has been completely taken over by tourism. It’s just lovely. The pool is probably one of the best we have stayed around too sunshine all day and even if you have a lie in, there always seems to be a sunbed available! It’s only about a five-minute walk into Kardamena, which has loads of shops and restaurants. The people there are so friendly and welcoming, and the cats wandering around everywhere are an added bonus! 😂 We’ve genuinely loved our stay here. It’s one of those places where the little things, especially the people, make such a difference. Would 100% recommend and would definitely come back. ❤️
