Nicolas Grand Suites

Absolutely faultless from check-in, to check-out! Staff are so friendly, a wonderful welcome from Stavros after a late arrival, and nothing was ever too much trouble for Alex at breakfast. The rooms are modern, and spotless, and have lots of nice little touches. Less than 5 minutes from, bars, shops & restaurants.. We will definitely be back.

We returned home last Thursday from 11 nights staying at the Nicolas Grand suites. I was slightly reluctant to put a review on to try and keep this place as much of a secret as possible, but i could not resist, as this Hotel deserves maximum praise and credit. The location is amazing, waking every morning to see boats in the sea, just a few hundred metres from the nearest beach. The rooms are ultra modern and absolutely spotless. The pool area is so relaxing and chilled with no screaming kids or loud teenagers. The breakfast and pool bar is excellant and caters for everyones needs. Lastly and most importantly i need to mention the amazing Staff, EVERYONE is sooo friendly, the reception staff always greet you with a smile and friendly chat. The bar and kitchen staff work tirelessly(especially Alex, who is an absolute star) they do everything with a smile and are genuinely caring. Stavros and the night team always friendly and happy. The cleaners are something else, they never stop, they clean your room spotlessly every day, then constantly clean stairs/dining room area all day. All with a smile. I could sing the Nicolas grand suites praises all day, but i think ive said enough already as i really want to keep this gem a secret. Haha. Many thanks for the best holiday ever. We will return.

Stayed here for 10nights returning on 8th August. Fabulous Hotel, stayed in suite 131 (The Kardemena) with jacuzzi, everything so spotlessly clean thanks to Eva, Best staff we have ever encountered in a hotel, Reception staff were wonderful and organised flowers and Prosecco for our anniversary , put a cake in the fridge for both our anniversary and my birthday a week later. Bottle of wine in our room when we arrived was a lovely touch. Don’t want to mention all staff names in case I forget someone as they were all amazing. Hotel is well situated for the beach, numerous bars and restaurants. There is a lovely pool and sunbeds at the hotel Perfect holiday! We visited for the first time last year and I did a long review so will try to keep this shorted if possible.(Failed) The high quality and staff helpfulness and friendliness is just as high even though only a few familiar faces are here this year. This was our 10th anniversary having married in Psalidi Kos 1st June 2016 and as we loved it here so much last year we decided we had to be here for that time. We did pop over for the day to the hotel we got married at but, it was always The Nicolas Grand we wanted to be at for this special occasion. The hotel management were superb and delivered all the request I had asked for to make it special for my wife, also more than we expected with our room upgrade. Thank you it was a lovely gesture and really appreciated. They always reply to your emails and go that extra mile to help with your requests. Our room with Jacuzzi was perfect, with lovely views across out across the Aegean. The hotel is in a great location just on the edge of the village but close enough to walk in within a couple of minutes. We packed a lot into the 10 nights we were here but it never felt rushed or hurried. The hotel has a great pool, plenty of comfy beds a great stocked bar and even a small gym for those who want to try and get off all that Greek hospitality they have put on, as the food is delicious. Both at the hotel and in the tavernas in the village you will always find something that suites your dietary needs. Breakfast time I love, so much choice and tasty. Laid out lovely too. Staff are on hand, so any help you need they will be with you. You have a large selection from your cooked type breakfast to your continental/Greek fayre. Teas, coffees juice cereals toast etc etc. Loads of lovely sweets too. The hotel is lovely and quiet adults only, so no screaming children, grab a book and a cocktail and relax. The rooms are perfect, beds soo comfy, views lovely , free safety box that will easily fit the kitchen sink. Toiletries are provided as well as bottle of wine on arrival. Room service each day by the lovely house keeping team. Please dont forget to leave them a tip when you leave as they work so hard and are always smiling. The bathroom and hot showers are lovely too,. Although we had air con we never used it. Don't get me wrong the weather was hot and perfect bar one night of slight thunder storm and rain. There is a shower and wc and baggage storage in the basement so on your day of departure when you leave your room by 11 you still have facilities within the hotel. If like us you have an evening flight home everything is safe while you do that last shopping and tan topping up. The hotel can arrange transport to and from he airport just contact them to arrange. Or ask at reception. You can also get beach towel's as well. To sum it up a great hotel, great staff led by a great management team. It was nice to see the management team around the hotel checking in to make sure everything is ok. Would I recommend this hotel. Yes of course, so much so we have already booked out 3rd visit for June next year. So impressed with the our room we have decided to have it again so have booked the Suite Angela for next year. They do have other rooms that are cheaper and I have to say they are all high quality too. We had a sea vie one on our first visit and that was perfect hence we did our second visit this year.` So even though they maybe cheaper you still get the same high quality but perhaps not the Jacuzzi etc. My advice is book direct with the hotel for cheaper deals, but be quick this type of quality soon gets sold out Yammas Mark and Samx

What a wonderful hotel, ran by such a fabulous friendly group of staff. We arrived late at night and were made to feel so welcome by Stavros. There was a complimentary bottle of wine in the room on arrival, coffee machine, tea and coffee and water free of charge daily. Breakfast was good with a bit of everything to suit all. Rooms were spotless and serviced daily by a friendly team. The staff work extremely hard, maybe an extra member of staff for the bar and pool area would be better. Although at the edge of the village it is such a short walk to beaches, bars and restaurants. Beds were comfy, air con was great and a safe is free to use. Pool towels were provided. Pool area was comfy and we never had a problem getting a sunbed, no one saved them until our penultimate day when a group arrived and towels were down before 8am! Such a shame as up until then we never had a problem and could arrive at the pool area any time. We will definitely return, just waiting on the release of prices for next year!
