The Ritual, A Wellnes Retreat

Very calm, quiet vibe. The rooms were lovely, comfy beds, rainfall shower with toiletries provided. The pool area was a good size, with comfy beds and plenty of towels. Breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. Location was around 10 mins walk to the beach and 25 mins walk to Kos town.

From.the moment we entered we felt the stress leaving. Just.amazing concept and 16 rooms? So.calming and all.meals served a rarity. The menu is.too restrictive if you go H Board for 7 days. My wife and I spent 10 nights at The Ritual Hotel in early September to celebrate our Silver Wedding Anniversary, and we honestly couldn’t have chosen a better place for such a special occasion. With just 16 suites, The Ritual has a wonderfully peaceful, relaxed and almost spiritual atmosphere. It never felt busy or crowded, which was exactly what we were looking for. The staff were exceptional throughout our stay – friendly, attentive and genuinely interested in making sure we had a great experience. Olga and Konstantina deserve a special mention; they were both fantastic and helped make our stay feel very personal. The Pool – Our Highlight For us, the pool area was the real highlight. The pool is huge, saltwater and beautifully peaceful, with plenty of comfortable sunbeds and space around it. On many days it felt as though we almost had the entire pool to ourselves, which made it incredibly relaxing. It was very easy to spend an entire day there without feeling the need to go anywhere else. Food & Cocktails The food and cocktails were very good, and breakfast was particularly impressive. Rather than the usual buffet-style hotel breakfast, there is a full à la carte menu, with everything cooked to order. Nothing seemed too much trouble for Victoria, who looked after us brilliantly throughout breakfast. She even managed to accommodate my request for a poached egg… once she had worked out exactly what I meant! 😂 Yoga My wife also took part in the morning yoga sessions during our stay and absolutely loved them. Iki was a fantastic teacher, and my wife particularly enjoyed the flow of the sessions. It was a lovely way to start the day and fitted perfectly with the calm atmosphere of the hotel. Location The hotel is slightly out of town, which we actually saw as a positive rather than a negative. If you're looking for somewhere right in the middle of the nightlife, this probably isn't the place for you – but that's certainly not what we wanted. We hired bikes from a nearby rental shop, and this turned out to be an excellent way of getting around. There are dedicated cycle paths and we could be in Kos Town in less than 10 minutes. It was easy to cycle into town, head to the beach or find somewhere for an evening drink or some nightlife, and then return to the peaceful surroundings of The Ritual. Overall The Ritual was exactly what we were hoping for when we booked our anniversary trip – peaceful, relaxing, personal and a little bit different from a traditional hotel. The combination of only 16 suites, the wonderful staff, beautiful pool, excellent breakfast, yoga and easy access to Kos Town made it a perfect choice for our 25th wedding anniversary. A special thank you to Olga, Konstantina, Angelika, Victoria and Iki, who all contributed to making our stay so memorable. We would happily return to The Ritual and would certainly recommend it to couples looking for a relaxing and peaceful escape in Kos. Very relaxed atmosphere and absolutely professional and caring crew, all perfect also in all details. I strongly recommend this hotel for relaxing and battery recharge holiday.
