Almyrida Beach

Just back from a wonderful fortnight in Almyrida. We stayed at the Beach hotel but you can use the facilities in any of the hotels in the group. We spent a lot of time in the upper pool bar, particularly during cocktail happy hour 🍸 The rooms are kept spotlessly clean by the amazing housekeeping team, who also leave a lovely welcome on the bed when you return from a “hard day” on the beach. One improvement could be a sturdier shower curtain, as water does escape quite easily. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff and the bar service was excellent. As some reviewers have noted, yes, there is a car park close by (great for us because we hired a car to explore a bit more of the island) but we did not find it noisy. Yes, the room furniture is basic, but the bed is spacious, there is a fridge, kettle and hairdryer and overall we thought it was very good value for money. Thoroughly recommended.

Delightful hotel in a wonderful location just across from a lovely sandy beach with local tavernas along the waterfront. Spotlessly clean throughout and very helpful and concerned staff, especially when I felt slightly unwell one evening

This is our second visit to Almyrida Beach Hotel and we have been overwhelmed by the amazing service and the care and effort that all the staff put into making our holiday such a wonderful experience. The rooms are immaculately looked after by the housekeeping staff and the care and detail such as the towel art has thrilled us. The beds are of a good quality and the room furnished to a high standard. You could not better the location and we have enjoyed our sea view room. The food has been varied, of high quality and we have particularly enjoyed the Greek dishes in the evening. The chef and his staff are to be commended for their efficiency and skill in managing to achieve a good balance in order to meet the variety of nationalities in the hotel yet msintaing the wonderful Greek experience. Can we especially mention Cyril. He has the best balance of managing his team,delivery of customer care, personality and humour and it's been our pleasure to get to watch such a dedicated manager whose sole desire is to provide a brilliant service and great holiday to all your guests. Without a doubt we will return to this hotel and resort and will look forward to it. So thank you we are taking away great memories.

Absolutely a 10 out of 10! This resort is truly magnificent. I visited here with my partner and our 1-year-old baby for 8 nights. Our room is wonderfully spacious and offers a stunning sea view. We opted for half board, enjoying breakfast and dinner here, although we also like exploring some local spots. ( Dimitris is a good one). The food at Almyrida is consistently fresh and delicious every day! The staff are warm, friendly, and professional, making us feel right at home. The cleaning staff are especially sweet, often surprising us with cute towel animals each day. The attention to detail has exceeded all my expectations. The beach is just about a minute away, making it super convenient. If you prefer, the pool is also a lovely option—beautifully placed with palm trees surrounding it, creating a relaxing atmosphere. There's even a bar next to the pool for refreshments. I higly recommend this wonderful place and want to congratulate everyone involved! The staff truly do an excellent job!

If I could give 10 stars, I would. From before we had even arrived, the team at Almyrida Resort went above and beyond to make our anniversary special. I wanted to surprise my partner with a bottle of Prosecco and an anniversary card in our room, and the reception and admin team made everything incredibly easy. The communication was fantastic, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. A special thank you to Artemis for helping organise everything. When we arrived, Theo on reception gave us such a warm welcome and immediately made us feel at home. Walking into our room and seeing the Prosecco, anniversary card, beautiful towel display and personalised anniversary message was far more than I expected and completely surprised my partner. We stayed for 10 days and every member of staff we met was brilliant. Besa was always friendly and welcoming at breakfast, and Paul at the adults-only rooftop bar makes the best Strawberry Daiquiris I've ever had (and I don't usually even like Strawberry Daiquiris!). What really stood out was his passion for mixology. You can tell he genuinely cares about what he does and takes real pride in his craft. Every drink was made to an incredibly high standard, and his professionalism, attention to detail and friendly personality made every visit to the bar a pleasure. Stephanos was also fantastic, always friendly, professional and attentive. Together, they helped create such a welcoming atmosphere at the rooftop bar and played a huge part in making our stay so enjoyable. The rooftop pool was immaculate, the location couldn't be better, and the beach, shops and restaurants are all just a short walk away. What really makes this hotel stand out is the people. The staff genuinely care and make you feel welcome from the moment you book until the moment you leave. Thank you to Artemis, Theo, Besa, Paul, Stephanos and everyone else behind the scenes for making our anniversary trip one we'll never forget. We'll definitely be back.
