Aqua Blu By Checkin

The most incredible stay at this gorgeous hotel! We stayed here for our wedding week as the venue was only a 10 minute drive away and I’m so glad we did! We had 10 rooms between our family and it felt like our own private villa but also felt big enough that we weren’t on top of each other. It is a beautiful hotel with gorgeous rooms and facilities. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had the most amazing stay, nothing was too much trouble for them and it felt like they were part of our family. We loved sitting at the bar of an evening chatting to Marko who was amazing and very accommodating, we didn’t catch the names of the lady who served our breakfast in the morning or the lady who cleaned our room or the lady at the bar in the day but all were incredibly helpful, friendly and kind. Depy and her husband who run the hotel are some of the kindest people we have ever met, they honestly couldn’t have done enough for us. Everything was absolutely perfect and we can’t wait to return in the future. The whole team and hotel will always hold a very special place in our heart. Thank you team Aqua Blu!

Beautiful hotel, pristinely clean, comfortable and welcoming.. rooms were big enough for the two of us and cleaned daily.. the location was perfect for us, away from the main town but close enough for a short taxi ride to Hersonissos, the old town and Koutouloufari (which is a beautiful little village full of authentic Greek tavernas).. daily breakfast was made fresh and was delicious every day with a wide range of options.. staff were amazing and a big shout out to Marco who was super friendly and couldn’t do enough for us.. he also provided recommendations of where to go and was a star on our last evening when our transfer didn’t arrive!

From the moment we arrived to when we left, we loved our stay. All of the staff from the owners, managers to the cleaners were charming, friendly, helpful with recommendations for local restaurants and things to do etc. We loved the peaceful quiet poolside and loved the way the staff constantly checked you were ok all day long, nothing was too much for them. Marco was brilliant, always smiling. I usually look forward to going home after 9 days, I could easily have stayed at this hotel longer, it felt like home from home. It was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and in a good location. We didnt hire a car but managed to get around, taxis are good service and reasonably priced. We will definitely return again. Thank you all for making our holiday a great one. Love Mary and Daran (Mr. Bacardi) xx

From the moment we arrived to when we left, we loved our stay. All of the staff from the manager to the cleaners were lovely, friendly and will do anything for you. The vibe at this small resort is completely chilled, slow and relaxed. It was so quiet and peaceful all the time, everywhere was really clean and tidy. I slept better here than I do at home, the shower was amazing and we had a hot tub and a good sized outside lounging area too on the balcony which felt very special. Breakfast was great and they had a really good selection that you just choose the night before but can change or add to it in the morning. We spent quite a lot of time at the Bar, thank you Marco :) and although they don't officially have a restaurant they serve snacks till 18:00 everyday and are very good. If we visit Crete int the future we will not hesitate to stay here again.

Big thank you to Debbi and Marco, made us feel welcomed. All the staff are really nice and friendly and the hotel is lovely and clean. Pool area is chilled, rooms well equipped and spotless. Food at pool bar was nice and breakfast was fantastic
