Aulus Chania, Curio Collection by Hilton

We recently stayed at Aulūs Chania Resort, Curio Collection by Hilton as a party of 8, and we are already looking into booking our next visit. The hotel itself is stylish, spotlessly clean, wonderfully calm, and offers amazing views of the sea. What truly sets this hotel apart from others is the world-class staff. From the reception team to the restaurant staff and guest services, everyone was a real credit to the hotel and the Hilton brand (and special mention—their uniforms are stylish as hell!). A few highlights from our stay: Guest Services: Incredible even before we landed! They seamlessly arranged a mobility scooter for a member of our party prior to arrival. Someone was always around to assist and made sure our stay was 10/10. From arranging taxi's, sending beautiful gifts for anniversaries and checking in to make sure we were having the best time. Huge shoutouts to Mara, Vassilis, and Yiannis. Particular thanks to Yiannis, who really took the time to look after our family and make our holiday amazing he made this holiday for us. FYI he is also an absolute guru when it comes to local food recommendations! (Pallas and Canale were incredible). Dining: The main restaurant had an amazing food selection, and the team couldn't have been more attentive. The Mezze restaurant opened in its new location during our stay, which made for a beautiful spot to watch the sunset over dinner. Bars & Drinks: Whether upstairs on the rooftop or down by the pool, the drink options were fantastic. We even joined the cocktail masterclass, which was fab! A massive shoutout to Dimitris at the evening bar, who was always so professional and attentive to our group. He is top tier! One minor suggestion: If management could add just a few more sunbeds around the pool area, that would be ideal, as a few guests struggled to find available beds during peak hours. Another suggestion, make sure you are around for the Saturday DJ by the pool, This turned into a Pool party with all the guest and was incredible, no one wanted the music to finish, even the staff come down to join in and party with the guest!!! Was so much fun! Overall, this was an extraordinary stay. beautiful rooms, amazing staff, great food & views. We will definitely be returning! x

We had a fantastic stay at Aulūs Chania Resort, Curio Collection by Hilton and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. (July 28 - August 11) The hotel itself is stylish, beautiful, with a real sense of calm throughout. We were a party of 8, they called us “The Family” and every member of staff was welcoming and attentive. Nothing was too much for them. Everyone went above and beyond to make us feel at home and were always happy to help, no matter how small the request. A particular thank you to Yiannis (You’re a star mate!!), Vassilis, Mara, Nikos (Island restaurant) & Anna, plus others whose professionalism and willingness to help made such a positive difference to our holiday. They gave us restaurants tips in Chania and even organised bookings and taxis for us. The rooms are stylish and comfortable. The resort is large enough to feel spacious and not overcrowded, yet compact enough that everything is easy to reach, giving it a relaxed atmosphere. At peak times they should have more sunbeds out, but this is a minor complaint. The food was excellent, with three restaurants that you are required to reserve, but the Island Buffet Restaurant offers Mediterranean & International cuisine, so you are spoilt for choice. What truly sets this resort apart, however, is the exceptional customer service. They are a real credit to the hotel and played a huge part in making our stay so enjoyable. Absolutely incredible hospitality at this hotel! All the staff were really friendly and helpful with the most welcoming smile on their faces all day! We had some trouble with our luggage not arriving, but they helped us out a lot with arranging for car hire and ensuring at every moment that we were comfortable. The rooms were clean and well maintained, and the facilities were also well maintained. The premises itself is gorgeous, you don’t need to leave the resort for a good holiday! Overall, highly recommend Aulus :)

Amazing experience all around with the spa treatment

What a fantastic hotel in a beautiful location. We never left the hotel as everything was there which we wanted for our holiday. The food was amazing the drinks all supper and the service was second to none. We met Anna the operations manager who couldn’t have been more helpful and attentive. We have stayed at many hotels around the world but this has to be up there with the best. Definitely try it out you will not be disappointed!
