Perfect location behind the beach with sea views. Be aware there is not a swimming pool but all rooms have plunge pools on the balcony. The hotel is spotlessly clean with professional and friendly staff. Breakfast can be taken on the terrace or in the restaurant and is served to order with an excellent offering. The rooms with Mountain View’s get the afternoon sun. Our was on 2nd floor and had lovely views of sea/mountains so got a good amount of sun and a large terrace which was not overlooked. With only 28 rooms and adult only it is ideal for those looking for a quiet and perfect location. Would definitely recommend

Wonderful experience. A small, yet modern and exceptional hotel. From wine and sweets upon arrival to honey and local spices upon departure. Rooms with private pools. Beautiful views of the bay. Excellent breakfast (exquisite menu). Sauna and dry jacuzzi (Thank you, Nikos). All our questions and requests were answered perfectly (Thank you, Eri). The best hotel in the best location in Crete. We will definitely be back.

Just returned home from a week on our honeymoon. We stayed in an Aqua marine suite with a sea view. Room was spotless, staff very friendly on arrival. But no recognition they we were staying for our honeymoon, even though our travel agent advised them beforehand. So a bit disappointed. Also we had asked for a sunny balcony. But no sun whatsoever. It seemed that most of the rooms don’t get any sun on that side of the building, that was the whole point of us choosing this hotel, so we could have our own privacy and pool in the sun, but unfortunately ended up having to go out onto the beach to be in the sun. We didn’t eat in the evening at the hotel as no atmosphere. We would have been the only people there. Many restaurants outside of the hotel which we would recommend with a friendly atmosphere and great value.

Booked this hotel thinking we could spend our days lounging on the balcony dipping in and out of plunge pool sadly we were mistaken as our aqua marine suite got absolutely zero sun meaning we headed to the beach every day not really being the point of our holiday staff pleasant and helpful rooms spotlessly cleaned every day but sadly won't be returning as spent no time in suite as balcony cool and dark

Would have given 5 stars if the below incident hadn’t have happened. We have just arrived home after 9 nights staying in the Amber Suite. Gorgeous room with lovely outlook. Bathroom small but has all amenities. I did miss a kettle for a cup of Yorkshire tea. Pastries, fruit, wine and other snacks there for our arrival and on our first day. We booked this suite knowing it would get the sun all day and it didn’t disappoint. Pool lovely temp when heated in October. Breakfast is excellent and freshly made with plenty choice. Restaurant staff and reception staff all very friendly and efficient. Immaculately clean everywhere. Beds, pillows and sun loungers really comfortable. Now to the not so great bit, which shocked me quite a lot for a 5 star hotel. We had confusing phone calls from reception to say firstly an electrician would be in that evening between 7-8pm. Then another call to say 6-7pm they would need to do some drone footage from our balcony. The next thing I knew (3pm) whilst I was reading on the bed (with the do not disturb sign on) there was two men in my room, without knocking. One of whom was on the phone. They made no attempt to explain why they had come into the room. Then went out on to the terrace and started rearranging sun loungers. The man was then off his phone when he came back in our room and explained about the drone footage later that day. This obviously made me feel like I could no longer use the sun lounger that day and also made me very wary of the fact anyone may enter the room with the do not disturb sign on without knocking. This wouldn’t stop us from booking here again, however I felt it was really inappropriate, more so from a 5 star hotel.
