Cretan Seaside

Visited here as a couple in late 30/early 40s for 3 days. We were the youngest people by a long shot bar one other couple and some teenagers with their parents, and possibly one of two English couples. The atmosphere was terrible, I didn’t see a smile on any member of staffs face. Everyone stared when we walked into the restaurant or to the pool area- very uncomfortable. There was little choice in the buffet, I was sick from the 2nd day. The beach is nice, enough sun loungers for low season. There for 3 nights and not a shred of entertainment but could hear the very loud bar across the street all night when hauled up in our room sick. My partner was not sick and so could go down and get water from the buffet for me, however the following night this was covered over so no access to water, and no water provided in our room at all from the beginning. When I asked about the advertised entertainment on the Wednesday they advised it was cancelled due to the rain. My partner braved the pool but it was freezing cold and smelled stale as soon as you got in so he immediately got out and showered. All of the drinks were horrible; the wine was awful, the beer was ok, but the cocktails were terrible, and even the soft drinks were horrid. The location was alright, few shops and bars and cafes right outside, albeit across a busy road. The room wasn’t bad, very basic and uncomfortable beds but it was clean. No duvet covers and the pillows make me have a terrible stiff neck. Absolutely would not recommend this hotel to anyone under the age of 70. Even my parents in their late 60s would be bored to tears.

Staff are so friendly - special mention to bar staff Sofia and Mariana they were wonderful! We were welcomed as soon as we arrived with a plated lunch, and our rooms were immaculate, cleaned frequently. The staff as a whole were wonderful kind and a great vibe. Food was delicious every night, various meats and cheeses, changing frequently. The pool bar does close at 6 but drinks can be obtained from inside the main restaurant/bar in plastics. Snacks only served between 4-5pm. Sun beds usually always available, beach was beautiful and well maintained. Wonderful welcoming environment - lots of cocktails on the inclusive menu. For a relaxing, easy, kind environment this is the hotel for you!

The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful...we had a "101 questions" upon arrival and they take their time with the guests, regardless of the time. The rooms are a bit small, but comfortable and clean. There were no problems with the water pressure. The maids changed the towels, cleaned the floors and took out the trash every day. The food is okay, a bit too little choice, but considering that the hotel is small, this is also to be expected. The beach and pool are well-maintained. Sunbeds are quickly occupied in the season, but not bad...you can get a free sunbed in the morning. Across the street from the hotel there are lots of shops and bars, occasionally they have live music until midnight. A good and average hotel, nothing bad to describe.

This resort in Greece is not a good choice for a young couple looking for fun and multiple activities. It is mainly a place for relaxation. The food is indeed very good, and the staff is friendly and polite. However, the rooms were unfortunately not properly maintained; the bed linens did not seem to be changed, and we even found sand in the bed where we slept. The room we were accommodated in had an unpleasant smell of sewage and mold. There were very few sun loungers available, which was inconvenient. What bothered us the most was the complete lack of entertainment or animation organized by the resort. Overall, this is not a suitable location for young people who are looking for nightlife, entertainment, or an active holiday.

Beautiful place, very nice and helpful people! Everything is clean, food is great, design gives great vibes! I can only recommend!
