Elios Hill

One of the best hotels I have stayed in. Everything is perfect, the rooms, the facilities, the food and most importantly the welcoming staff. I will definitely come back here in the future.

This place is in a hill across the beach right over a major highway. Second this place feels like a family factory. It’s not 5 stars, it’s very far from it, but the staff are very sweet and it’s not their fault these are the cards they were dealt with. I will list the pros first: water park for kids, sweet staff. Cons: noisy from the highway. No real view of the beach, food is on a very low level, this is not upscale restaurants or upscale breakfast buffet. This is every kids junk food dream. Ice cream feels like it’s factory made not quality. Syrups, honey, jams all factory made instead of getting locally sourced products for people to experience the real Greece. The Asian restraint has a very limited menu, they don’t have much if any at the entire hotel any gluten free food. I don’t eat gluten free processed unless I have too… and that pretty much sums it up. The grounds seems like they used to have angrily but now a person has to walk. I love walking but the uphill is not easy either a stroller or in heels if a person dresses up for dinner. The rooms are very dark and the mini bars are not stocked. All of the juices and sodas are not brand and there isn’t even an espresso machine in the rooms. Just a kettle. I’ve never not had an espresso machine in my room, especially at a 5 star resort. Zero bathrobes, no slippers, no hair conditioner!! Cotton pads, etc, forget it, not even existint. It was definitely a bad way to end our vacation after being in beautiful Crete for two weeks at various 5 star resorts but the manager did arrange a private pickup and shipped us off to a beach club for the day. We only stayed 2 days. The beach club really helped and I’m very grateful for that. One other pro, they are close to the airport so about 18 min and you are there but otherwise unless you have a lot of kids and you need to be conscious of spending I wouldn’t ever come here or recommend it, and honestly if someone stays at a different 5 star resort let’s say that’s not all inclusive they can spend more or less the same because breakfast is included everywhere and in Greece you can order everything family style. Last but not least. There is no pool service, for towels or ordering anything: you have to go to reception and pick up and you have to get everything yourself and once again non of the food or drinks are premium. All factory grade.

Lovely hotel, spacious private rooms with balconies and lots of space around the pool and at the restaurant. The hotel is a 20 min walk to the first beach but taxis are readily available and can drop you anywhere along the coast of Hersonissos. We were all inclusive and it was definitely worth it, breakfast lunch and dinner were all lovely. Lots of food choice even for fussy eaters and the food is always fresh and the restaurant clean. There are also three restaurants alongside the main buffet style. The Cretan and Asian restaurants were amazing!!!! All of the staff were friendly and they have a shop on site which sells essentials so you are very well taken care of. No super loud music in the evenings, only the noise of the cicadas in the day! Would go again tomorrow!!!!?

The Kids’ Club was fantastic! The staff were warm, caring, and amazing with the children. The activities were fun and well organized, and the kids absolutely loved going back every day. A real highlight of our stay! Special thanks to Bianca and Andrea, who were both absolutely wonderful and made the experience even more special.

I loved the restaurant and the animation team was really nice, especially for the kids
