As a frequent traveller, I was very disappointed with this hotel. It is far from the 5-star standard it claims, and even further from its 9.3 rating. The overall cleanliness was poor. The swimming pool was not cleaned, and there was a strong smell of sewage in the water park area. A plate left outside our door in the evening was still there the following afternoon, which says a lot about the housekeeping standards. The facilities are in poor condition as well. The gym equipment was broken and patched together with adhesive tape, which is unacceptable at this level. The service was equally disappointing. Coffee in the restaurant is only available during breakfast hours. The pool area overlooks a motorway, which is not what you would expect from a hotel in this category. Overall, this was one of the biggest disappointments I have experienced in my travels. I would not recommend this hotel and will not be returning.

Never seen an hotel so administration oriented and not customer oriented. The company’s culture is the one of an accounting firm. We had booked two rooms: I completed all my address details for one room and the lady tells me “please fill two papers for two rooms”. Yes but the address is the same. “No sorry sir you have to complete the second one yourself, I will not copy it myself. Euh, really?” Then we call Booking to get an upgrade, what they do by confirming two villas. But the hotel has finally only one villa available. Ok for us. “No sir, we will not give you this villa because the members of the other room will cheat and use the swimming pool they have not paid for.” Really? Customers are just cheaters?. Then we call booking again to get full pension with the same room. Booking.com does it. Here again, refusal of the hotel because they just want to honor the first reservation. After hours of discussions (sic…), they finally grant us the full pension and booking.com, very professional, in order to honor what they confirmed to us, pay a compensation amount to the hotel… finally we ask for a late check-out (one hour more). “Yes but it is 12 Euros by room for one jour, so 24”. So I agreed for one room. 10 minutes later the receptionist calls me:”as you are only extending one room for one hour and not two, it’s finally not 12 Euros but 20” really?? Zero customer feeling. Even the tax authorities in my country are more flexible and nicer…

All staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Facilities were very clean. It was great to have a plunge pool which was larger than we thought and it had a beautiful view of the mountains and water. Having a waterpark was a huge plus for our boys. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice the beach facilities were - if choosing all inclusive, you paid for nothing at the beach. There were beautiful covered beds, fruit, drinks, and Prosecco served to you as well as a wonderful beach side bar and restaurant as part of the package; you could also pay as you go and use all beach facilities. While we didn’t use it, there appeared to be plenty of room for chairs by the main pool, and there were always lounge chairs available by the waterslides. Overall, it seemed really well staffed for the number of guests and never felt crowded. There was a wide variety of food every night, always including high quality Greek food, as well as range of other food that made everyone in our family happy. The fruit trays they offer are phenomenal! It was great to be so central for short day trips to Lake Kournas, Chania and Rethymno. Highly recommended.
