We had a fantastic stay. Nice, clean rooms with balconies with lovely sea views. The most lovely and friendly staff. 5 min walk to the beach, a nice rooftop with pool and bar and a lovely atmosphere. We can recommend it 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

We first stayed at Minos Ambassador while planning our wedding in Crete last year and loved it so much that we returned for our wedding. After two stays, we'd have no hesitation booking again. The location is ideal, around a 15–20 minute walk to Rethymno Old Town or a quick taxi ride, with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. If you're walking, make a stop at Tipsy Flamingo for a takeaway cocktail along the way! The welcome was lovely, with friendly staff, cold towels and refreshments at check in. Our room was modern, spacious and immaculately clean, and the bed was one of the most comfortable we've ever slept in. Breakfast was great, with eggs cooked to order, speciality coffees and even bottles of fizz. We also loved the rooftop pool and bar, especially the sunset views. Our only minor suggestion would be to have the music a little louder around the pool. We also recommended Minos Ambassador and its sister Minos hotel to our wedding party, and the feedback we received was amazing all round. Minos Ambassador is a fantastic choice for couples looking for a stylish, relaxing stay close to everything Rethymno has to offer.

Definitely recommend this hotel, our room was great and we had a wonderful surprise of a bottle of sparkling wine upon arrival. Breakfast is great and the housekeeping was so good and we never had any issues. Special and warm regards to Michael at reception. Always helped us with a smile and welcomed us warmly to the hotel and explained everything for us!

The hotel was stunning. Upon arrival we were greeted by George who took us to the rooftop and we were given fresh juice and cool towels. Our cases were taken directly to our room, which was spacious, very clean and beyond our expectations. We were gifted sparking wine a fruit. The food was beautiful, with great choice and quality. It was served daily by Argyra and others who was wonderful, she was friendly, personable and informative about all the food on offer. On the evening we were served by the lovely bar staff, Costa and Adonis who brought our drinks to our table with snacks. The position of the hotel was great. 3 minutes from the beach and 15 mins from the old town. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again !

We had an exceptional stay at this hotel and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Everything exceeded our expectations! The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and always willing to help. A special thank you to the lovely lady who served us during breakfast and dinner—she was always smiling, kind, and made us feel truly welcome. The atmosphere was wonderful, with live entertainment and shows every evening that made each night enjoyable and memorable. Our room was spotless every day, thanks to the excellent housekeeping team. The hotel's location is another big advantage—just a short walk from the beach, making it very convenient for a relaxing holiday. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Crete and would be delighted to stay here again. Thank you to the entire team for making our vacation so special!
