ROBINSON IERAPETRA

To start off with, the hotel itself is absolutely breath-taking. Everything is so modern, clean and well taken care of. From the moment you arrive, you are greeted friendly by staff and are made sure that everything is made to perfection. As we arrived fairly late, the restaurant was already closed, but they make sure to keep some food and drink available, so that you do not need to go sleep hungry. Furthermore, the facilities and the rooms are very clean, very accessible and sometimes requires a bit of a walk, but that is no problem because it is a beautiful resort, and there are also shuttle buggy's which circulate throughout the whole day, bringing you from one end of the resort to the other. However, the only reason why this review was not 5 stars, is unfortunately due to the lack of professionalism displayed from some members of staff, which starts with some smaller issues such as ignoring us at the bar, or not greeting back. Another issue was that we were reassured that if we wanted to have a later check-out, as our flight was later in the day, it would not be a problem - for a small fee, which is fine, but after asking about this later in our stay, it was impossible to do so, where we had to stay at the reception area, waiting for a few hours, which made the end of a wonderful stay quite poor. I still have to point out that some members of staff go above and beyond, especially in the F&B department, and also in the entertainment department, however this was mostly not the standard which was expected, especially after it being my 3rd time here. Overall, I can definitely recommend this hotel, especially the ocean-view rooms, but do not pack too many hats, because they will probably fly away due to a lot of wind in the later times of the year.

Very nice place to stay. Modern rooms and facilities and a lot of ways to enjoy your vacation. What really stands out are all the kind and helpful employees that make the vacation even more enjoyable. Big thanks to Gitti and here whole team, you were outstanding!

The club is located in a very quiet area with pebble beach. The club looks very new. They do much to be sustainable (no little shampoos, conditioner or other things that generate a lot of waste but one unique shampoo/shower gel). The rooms are very spacious an clean, the air con is totally silent and works perfectly. The mattress and pillows are super comfy. Special thanks to the kindness of housekeeper Anna!!!🥰 You have different pools, lots of sports activities for adults, teens and kids. No ‚towel reservation‘ of the lounge chairs which is awsome!! The restaurants have a big variety of food even gluten free vegetarian vegan. The wine that is served could be a bit better though. Overall a super experience, the staff is just incredibly friendly, helpful, talented, hardworking…even the managment is participating in the shows! Difficult to top!👍👍👍

Disapointment for a big amount of money... After a nice big journey in Greece when we had a tiresome but pretty interesting trip we arrived to Robinson Ierapetra for refreshing, relaxing and some luxury, that's why we had decided to pay a huge amount of money for a week's holiday. We didn't bring with ourselves things which are usualy available at hotels with 4 stars - not to mention 5 star hotels like Robinson Ierapetra. Two years ago we had spent a realy nice holiday in Robinson Agadir, and after that experience the Ierapetra Robison was quite a disappointment. To begin with the good things: the region, the coast and the sea was fabulous, the water of the sea crystal clear, although the wind was pretty heavy all the week, but we can swim. But the management of this hotel got quite lost: every moment we felt that they are seeking the way for ripping off with money, that they was saving money for our skin. When in Janury we planned our journey, we wrote to the hotel management for asking an offer for accomodation in June, but we could not got answer just when I asked again to respond. They only sent us the offer two weeks later, and during that weeks they increased at the website their prices. Whan I wrote that we saw lower prices at the time of our letter, they responded that we should have maden Print Screen ior they can not give that price which was indicated before. OK, we decided all the same to go there as we wanted to visit Crete. When we arrived after a long trip in Greece, in our room there was no kettle just coffe maker, and when we asked for coffee capsules, they said that we should buy in the hotel shop. There was no slippers, nor gown in the room, neither any sanitary kit ( conditioner, body milk, etc), what you get even in every 4 star hotel. When asking about it ( we had no those things as we like to save weight in the plane - for climate sake and in our journey we had some much stops that we had to minimalize the weight of bagagges) the management told us to buy the sanitary tools in the shop. As the hotel was far from the city ( 8 km), we could not go to other shop and in the hotel's shop we could not get even tee bags for making tea. At the main meals there were water, beer and wine but besides these you had to buy water and beverages for yourself in the bars - in other Robinson hotels you get all these stuffs during the day - even they bring some nice drinks anf icecreams etc. to your sunbed at the beach. The animation programs were poor and mostly for children. In total we feel all the time that they try to pump out as much money as possible from the guests pocket and it was realy disappointing. I would suggest all who would like to spend a nice relaxing vacation to go to other (Robinson) Hotel, and for the owners to change the managemnet of Robinson Ierapatra asp.!

Everything was great. Service always friendly, the food was very tasty and variable, we enjoyed the Meze Dinner at the Taverna, the room was always very clean, the shows were professional, Greek Night like the old times, top location, spa offer is excellent. We feel very regenerated after this vacation. We are coming again for sure.
