The Nest Resort

The Nest is situated on a beautiful hillside overlooking the ocean. It’s a 30 min drive from Heraclión airport, with lots of fabulous beaches easily accessible via car or taxi. The area is quiet and scenic, but not too far from restaurants and shops if needed. The hotel’s design is modern and stylish. The rooms were clean and we were incredibly well looked after by its highly attentive and friendly staff. Our room had a fabulous balcony where we got an amazing sunset every single evening. We enjoyed both the breakfast and set menu dinner each evening - the food was always fresh, delicious and local. The pool was beautiful, and we loved that we could privately book the sauna, steam room and jacuzzi at no extra cost. I would highly recommend the hotel, which has a glorious boutique feel, combined with excellent amenities and location. It was excellent value, I would visit again.

Absolutely fantastic place - if you’re considering, just book it! As someone who likes to visit a place once and then see somewhere new, I’ll have to make an exception and go back to The Nest. We stayed in Villa 203. I would request this villa again next time, it was perfect. Clean, modern and spacious 2 bed villa which had 3 showers, huge kitchen/living area, 2 balconies and plenty of outdoor furniture. It had everything we needed. Towels changed as often as you wish, housekeeper visiting daily. Private pool area had complete privacy with greenery while still being able to watch the sunset from the balcony. Staff simply couldn’t do enough for you and nothing was ever an issue. Half board is great value for money. The quality of the food and freshness was outstanding. Meat, fish and veg options changing daily. We enjoyed lovely cocktails at the pool bar early evening, a good wine choice and excellent coffee! The shared pool area never seemed very busy for those considering a room - still worth it! Perfect holiday made memorable by the fantastic staff who made it that extra special for us. I was trying to get everyone’s names on the last day to mention but truly, every single employee is worth a mention, from night security, receptionists full of local recommendations, friendly housekeeping, a welcoming manager, chatty bar and waiting staff right down to our pool cleaner! They are a credit to the owner and I hope to see everyone again on our next visit ☺️

A few days ago, I returned from an amazing vacation at the NEST Resort in Crete. We traveled there as a group of ten close friends and enjoyed every single moment of our stay. Even before the trip, we were in close contact with the resort manager, Ilias, who answered all of our questions and requests with exceptional patience and kindness. He also helped arrange airport transfers and car rentals for us, which made everything so easy and stress-free. When we arrived, we were delighted to discover a beautiful, peaceful, and tastefully designed place, and we received the warmest welcome from the entire staff. We stayed in a large villa with a private pool, along with an additional double room overlooking the sea, and everything was simply perfect. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and comfortable; the villa included a huge terrace, a large swimming pool, a fully equipped kitchen, a very spacious living room, and an overall wonderful atmosphere. The breakfasts were rich and delicious, and it was also possible to enjoy dinner at the lovely on-site restaurant — or even order Wolt if we felt like staying in. The resort is located in the Hersonissos area and overlooks the sea, making it ideal both for relaxing at the resort and for exploring the surrounding area. Quite simply, it is a perfect place. But most importantly, the hotel staff make every guest feel at home. I have never experienced such warm and welcoming hospitality — the kind that makes you want to stay there forever. Highly, highly recommended!

Just returned from a very nice stay at The Nest. The hotel as a whole was a pleasure to stay in, very clean and tidy throughout. The staff were all very welcoming and friendly, always helpful and happy to assist with any queries about the local area and things to do. This is a very quiet location, so if you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing stay this is perfect. The food on offer was to a very good standard and the breakfast was excellent. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel.

I really enjoyed my stay the Nest Resort together with my mother. Really nice hotel & staff. We also had a Massage at the Spa with Kalliopi and it was a great experience. Would absolutely recommend it!
