Absolute Kiotari Resort

Amazing from start to finish, so clean, staff extremely welcoming and happy especially the waiting staff who seem to work 14 hours a day but still have a smile on their face. Food was great, very quiet area but we loved and expected that. We will definitely return to this little peace of heaven

I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. I travelled here solo on a last-minute booking, and I honestly couldn't have been happier with my choice. It is rare to come across such an exceptional team of staff, where every single person is genuinely warm, welcoming, and dedicated to making your stay as enjoyable as possible. The food was delicious and varied, the cocktails were fantastic, and the overall standard of the hotel was outstanding in every respect. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and the other guests were equally friendly. I think that's partly because this is a smaller boutique hotel, which attracts travellers looking for a more personal and peaceful experience than the larger mass-tourism resorts. The surrounding area was peaceful, and the evening entertainment was excellent. Even the owners of the nearby supermarket were incredibly kind and welcoming. Throughout my stay, I felt completely safe, genuinely cared for, and very well looked after. I honestly don't have a single negative thing to say. I am leaving with wonderful memories and would happily return in the future.

What can I say but thank you to everyone at absolute Kiotari for a fantastic holiday!!! This is a lovely, clean friendly and relaxed hotel. Never on any previous holiday have we had such great , kind ,friendly happy staff. Even when arriving late from an outing (5 mins before the restaurant closed) we were welcomed in the restaurant manager to sit and enjoy our dinner with no need to rush. All in all a great place to be on holiday. Il Porto restaurant is a great family run restaurant around 10 mins before the walk is a must, it is also a great place for a dip too. We will definitely revisit.

We absolutely loved our fortnight holiday here. It is the most relaxing and perfect hotel with EVERY member of staff so welcoming, happy and unstressed! We’ve never visited a hotel where we can say this! No strict rules or fighting for the super comfortable Sun loungers!! Nothing too much trouble, even when we retuned late from a day trip, 5 minutes before restaurant closed and we were welcomed in to dine at leisure. Reception were so helpful with advice for travel, frequent buses run from top of road. Supermarket a short walk along main road. Option in hotel for half board to swap dinner for lunch by pool (twice during stay), arrange day before, it is worth doing as a super lunch menu too. Definitely recommend doing the ‘Donkey Cruise’ (as recommended by Effy on reception who gave us the leaflet), a family who run a rescue centre in the nearby village of Asklipieio. They transport you to & from this hotel and you can ride or walk with the donkeys that are loved and well cared for. We fell in love! A short walk down towards the sea and you can find lovely welcoming restaurants. We found ‘Il Porto’ a lovely family owned and run place to cool off in front of the gorgeous quiet bay where we found good snorkelling. Thank you again to ALL the wonderful staff for making us a holiday so special and to remember always. We would happily return!

My best friend and I have just returned from a week in Kiotari staying at Absolute which surpassed our expectations. The area is off the beaten track, unspoilt and charming. The local beach is stoney but the water is clear teal perfection. There are a sprinkling of local family owned restaurants in enticing positions scattered along the beach front. Unfortunately we only had enough time to dabble in a few, having nothing but positive things to report. With only 90 rooms, this quiet and intimate hotel was perfect for a chilled getaway and beautifully maintained. We had the superior room with private pool and loved it. Room 5007 gets sun on the pool from about 11am, spilling over into the majority of the terrace area by 3pm at this time of year - so we were very lucky. House keeping were very friendly and seemed to really appreciate us making an effort to use the greek language during interactions with them. If you're after a relaxed but high design aesthetic, this place is for you. The property was managed by a small and very friendly team who looked after us brilliantly. Special shout out to Neil at the Bar who consistently went over and above. The main pool was beautiful - Most guests used the neutral beach towels available from the hotel, beds were spread out nicely so nobody was encroaching on your space, the pool was beautifully kept and there was the low level hum of relaxing music playing throughout the day. Perfection. We also enjoyed the food offerings at the hotel. Breakfast buffet had a good selection of fresh fruit, cereals, cake and fried foods. Lunch (à la carte) by the pool was lovely, with generous portions and good prices. For dinner buffets there were theme nights with a decent selection. We particularly enjoyed Greek night, trying some of the traditional pastries and desserts. Chicken gyros - chefs kiss! The hotel is well Positioned for days out/ meals in surrounding areas. We found a local taxi driver (Mike - The Greek Canadian) who added value to our holiday. We simply whatsapp'd him whenever we needed a taxi and found him to be very responsive. Additionally the Kiotari train stops immediately outside the hotel reception which is very handy and helps you get to grips with the geography of Kiotari. In summary: 10/10 Relaxed Holiday Vibes 10/10 Charismatic Staff 10/10 Attentiveness 10/10 Aesthetics 10/10 Beachside location This place is a gem! Selfishly I hope this hotel remains an undiscovered wonder...
