Arte Rhodes

Absolutely terrible experience and easily the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The breakfast buffet was very poor quality and I became ill with what I believe was food poisoning during my stay. The pool area was largely in the shade, which was extremely disappointing when travelling to Rhodes to enjoy the sunshine, and this was not clearly explained when booking. The balcony was covered in pigeon faeces, making it unpleasant and virtually unusable, while the advertised sea view was badly affected by derelict buildings directly in front of the hotel. I raised my concerns on the first morning and the hotel manager was never available to speak to me. Booking.com also took a full week to respond despite telling me I would receive a response within two hours, or 24 hours at the latest. I was so unhappy that I had to book another hotel during my holiday just to get away from this place. I would strongly advise against staying here!

We recently just stayed at this hotel. We booked through love holidays and booked a room which apparently didn’t exist. The room was dirty had marks over the beds and pillows. Dusty scratches and writing all over the walls. The room had safety hazards a moving drain in the bathroom which moved easily so there was a hole in the bathroom floor. We told the receptionist staff and they said they will get the maintaince team to fix it but it never was. The staff were also rude we were shouted at by the reservations manager and dismissed by other staff in a rude manor when we requested another room. We were told we have a nice room and should be grateful. After this encounter we felt very uncomfortable speaking to the receptionists at the hotel. We also frequently had our towels taken away and not replaced we would have to phone up multiple times to request towels and would sometimes be waiting over half an hour or had to go down to reception to get them. Only good thing I could say is its location is close to the beach. Would not recommend staying here!

We had a very good stay at Arte Hotel in Rhodes. The rooms are comfortable and overall in good condition. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which was definitely appreciated in the Rhodes heat. The bathroom could use a little more attention and updating, but overall the room was absolutely fine. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm and welcoming. We stayed with a group of friends and especially want to mention our waiter, Mauin, who was outstanding. Mauin managed to find the perfect balance between hospitality, professionalism and genuine friendliness. He knew exactly how to interact with our group, always making us feel welcome while providing excellent service. He is a great example of how guests should be treated in a hotel. Mauin was without a doubt one of the highlights of our stay. With his attitude and professionalism, we are sure he will go a long way in hospitality. Arte Hotel is lucky to have him! Overall, a very enjoyable stay and a hotel we would happily recommend.

AVOID this hotel. 2 nights running, from 5pm onwards there has been zero running water in this hotel. We have returned from a family day at the beach covered in salt and sand and not been able to shower. It was ruined our plans for two nights running. But what is worse than any of this is that the Manager/Owner Costas rufeses to show his face on site or even answer the phone to offer any guests a solution. Absolutely shocking behaviour I'm in complete disbelief that a hotel manager could actually treat his guests like this I even witnessed new people checking into this evening and not being told about the situation. Never in my entire life of staying at hotel have I ever witnessed any such behaviour

From check in to our early check out we had a bad experience, drain flys in the rooms, dirty towels in the rooms, mould in the room, a hard bed that my wife and I could not sleep all night, it was just a terrible experience. The manager just shouts at the guests we were not shouted at nor did we receive anything rude it was how the manager was talking to the other guests that was appalling. Dave your self the headache and choose another hotel
