Aulus Lindos Rhodes, Curio Collection by Hilton

We visited the hotel in the 2nd week of it transitioning to being a part of the Hilton Curio Collection, the first week of which had been hit with bad weather. There were a few teething issues during the transition as the staff endeavoured to get it up to the required standard - which we didn’t mind as we’d got a very good deal on the price. But the real gem of the holiday was Andreas - who ensured that, despite the hiccups, we had a memorable and wonderful stay. He was super attentive, sweet and thoughtful and is a real asset to the brand. We’d stay in any hotel that Andreas was working at! Thalia was also absolutely lovely and again, helped to ensure we got the service you’d expect from a 5* hotel. It’s a lovely and calm atmosphere, great access to a beautiful beach had a yummy Italian restaurant and the Asian was also authentic tasting. The buffet food needed improvement but again, I’m sure within time that will happen as the hotel gets up to full speed. We’d definitely stay again.

Absolutely loved our stay at Aulus Lindos! The room was beautiful and the hotel felt like its own little village. During our visit it was peaceful, the atmosphere was amazing and everything was kept very clean. We had no issues with noise at night, making it the perfect place to truly relax in luxury. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming, which made our experience even more special. We also had a complimentary private taxi into the centre and the driver came back to collect us when we were ready, which was such a nice touch. As it was two of our birthdays, the hotel surprised us with a lovely chocolate mousse-style cake which we really appreciated. The pool and pool area were really nice too, although a few more sunbeds would make it even better. The food was okay, about what you’d expect from hotel food, but the omelettes were amazing...Vicky definitely did her thing with the omelettes every morning! We also all had spa treatments, I had a deep tissue massage and my mum had a different massage. We came out feeling completely blissful and relaxed. It was beautiful. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious getaway.

Friendly staff lovely hotel.

Stayed in room 930, as a family of 4 in early May 2026. From check-in at Reception to checking out 5 days later, it was a perfect holiday. No delays at check-in, golf buggy lift to our room, and luggage brought across 10 minutes later. Yes, there were bits that weren't perfect, but resolutions were promptly provided. Thalia checked in with us each day, making sure we were happy, and provided us with anything we asked for - Thanks Thalia .. The buffet restaurant wasn't the best, for example plenty of bread at mealtimes, but no toaster at Breakfast time. Also the potato accompaniment you would normally expect at Breakfast time (think Hash Browns or Sauté Potato's) were replaced with Chips !! Yes, chips - also the food was not hot, but lukewarm at best. The variety wasn't great either. We had one visit to the Greek Restaurant (free, but book in advance) and that was lovely, plenty of sharing dishes to suit all tastes. The Italian restaurant by the pools serves up great Pizza, and other dishes. No booking needed for that whilst we were there. The Street Food (Burger Van) by the beach wasn't open whilst we were there, so can't comment on that one. The pools were lovely, a little bit slippery (and cold) but usable all the same. Usual story with sunbeds being reserved, but not used. Also not that many sunbeds around the pool. Lifeguard by the pool, and also one on the beach as well. The private beach attached to the resort was quiet, with plenty of sunbeds. The sunbeds by the beach & the pools were lovely, wooden variety with deep cushions. I have a hip problem, but found these a delight to use, as they were slightly higher up, and more accessible. Take some beach shoes with you as the beach is pebbly, and there is quite a shelf / drop into the water at the edge. Free pool / beach towels strategically placed by the pool and also on the beach, and were replenished throughout the day. Free Dual Zone Aircon in both bedrooms, plus a free safe too. Almost forgot to mention the free minibar in the bedroom, which was stocked with local beer, soft drinks and water. This was replenished daily, every day. Small shop on site. selling most things you might need. Bigger shop outside the hotel, approx. 100m up the road. The complex is very remote, and the local bus failed to run on one day, so consider hiring a car if you want to explore the island. It's about 50mins from the Airport, but our transfer time was about 2hrs, by a small shuttle bus. Had no problems with the staff, all were lovely, hard working and willing to help / assist if asked. Plates were cleared away promptly, and drinks offered by the respective waiters / waitresses. Entertainment one evening was Greek dancing, and they were very good, getting members of the audience involved throughout. Branded spirits were available, as well as local spirits. Soft drinks were branded Pepsi / Fanta & Lemonade served in 330ml tall cans. Glasses available with ice if needed. Didn't get offered late check-out (we weren't being collected until 6pm) but Reception kindly stored our cases for us securely, and all the facilities of the resort were made available to us. Parts of the complex are in need of refurbishment, but there was a lot of work ongoing during our stay, but nothing that inconvenienced us in any way. Overall, a lovely resort, not 5 stars by any means, maybe a high 3, or low 4 - but worth a visit as it's just the place to relax and unwind for a few days.

Unknown to us at time of booking, the hotel was on a soft opening following the transition of it being bought by Hilton. Things were not good! On arrival room wasn’t available until 6pm (should have been 3pm) In room, no hot water, no tv, mini bar but no drinking glasses or bottle opener, no shower gel or shampoo but lots of hair conditioner! Two out of four restaurants open, one being the buffet. A nice Italian restaurant open for limited food but only at lunch times. In all three restaurants food quite good but service poor. Not once throughout our stay did a waiter offer another drink/glass of wine, it was always necessary to ask. Plates and cutlery never collect causing it to pile up on the table. In the buffet restaurant food was warm at best! There was a nice Gelateria at the hotel but open two out of seven days but un maned. On our second day I was forced to request a meeting with the General manager who came to our room promptly with Andreas, the Guest Relation Manager. They were very attentive and took notes. Andreas assured that things would change and he would be available to deal with any problems. Andreas was a man of his word and completely turned around our holiday experience. Whilst the restaurant availability was still poor and the food still average at best the service improved dramatically. Andreas seemed to get the staff motivated noticeably. They were far happier under his supervision and guidance and so much more efficient. All issues with our room were rectified due to his input. Andreas is amazing! He was not only dealing with many other peoples problems but his dedication and excellent customer service skills turned our experience round. He’s incredible and seems to be single handedly sorting out this hotel and raising it to a 5* standard. We really hope Hilton are aware of the formidable talent they have in Andreas who would be an asset to any business. Thank you Andreas.
