Orama Hotel & Spa

Just back from a weeks stay at this hotel and can’t sing its praises enough. From the beautiful hotel itself to the friendly and most helpful staff, we recommended a stay here for couples and families. Viscilis gave us a warm welcome at reception when we arrived at 11:30pm. He was full of energy every night and was always so happy to see us every evening on his nightshift. We had contacted the hotel before our stay to organise restaurant reservations and the reception staff Maria, Theodore and Jakimi did not disappoint. Every restaurant booking we had were front row seats to sunsets at the likes of popular restaurants like The Vine, Cavo Tagoo, Beefbar, and Rizes. I would highly recommend making your bookings via the hotel as you will be pleasantly surprised and greatfull! The restaurant breakfast area is small but sufficient. We had been worried about this due to the reviews however, there is more than enough selection to choose from and options are always well stocked. The restaurant and bar staff are so attentive and pleasant. Specifically, George, Theo, Andre and Irakilis make such a good team during peak times of the breakfast service. Despite being under a lot of pressure they always took time to smile, say hello and ask how you were which we really appreciated. The pool area and sun loungers are always well maintained and clean. Fresh pool towels are provided by the hotel everyday along with 2 x 1.5L bottles of water in your room. You really are made to feel like they care about their guests at this hotel! We did have an encounter with a couple who had taken our sun loungers, however the bar/restaurant manager Pamos, resolved the issue by apologising and bringing out more sun loungers for us and an umbrella as he couldn’t ask the other guests to move. Semella the barmaid and Pamos apologised again the next day and gave us our drinks on the house as a goodwill gesture! This took us by surprise but again goes to show the care they take of their guests. I couldn’t recommend Santorini enough, the place is absolutely stunning and the views are breathtaking. The hotel is conveniently located a 5-10 minute walk into Fira centre, a supermarket, pharmacy and local shops. We stayed in room 310 and the view from our balcony was incredible. Noise level from the traffic on the main road was not noticeable at night when trying to sleep. I’d like to say a huge thank you to all the staff who made our stay so relaxing and enjoyable. The team at Orama hotel work so well together and it really makes a difference to the overall experience and atmosphere. We look forward to returning here in the future, and I never usually visit the same place twice!

I have just returned from a week in the Orama with my daughter and we had a wonderful time. The location is perfect, within walking distance to the beautiful capital of Fira, with all of its shops, bars and restaurants. They have thought about everything you might need in a hotel room, including shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion, as well as an iron, ironing board, safe, fridge and hairdryer. There are three pools on three levels, all with sunloungers and umbrellas. The staff cannot do enough for you and are most welcoming and friendly. The restaurant offers a good range of food and drinks if you want to stay in. There is also a spa, my treatment was divine!

Guests camp out and take over a common area, prohibiting everyone from using it, and no one at the hotel does anything about it. It's shameful.

We have been staying at Orama for a week. It is absolutely amazing in every perspective. Location is close to Fira which is essential for food, clubs and more. The rooms are clean and nice. We lived in a Junior Suite, which was extremely spacey. Pool areas are clean and nice. The pool bar and restaurant is very high quality, and offer a great variation of different food. Drinks are very good too! Atmosphere is nice and actually quiet. You’ve got plenty of space around you, so don’t stress it for a good place by the pool. Value for money is incredible here. Service by the pool and reception is top notch too. We will come again next year.

We had an absolutely perfect stay at the Orama Hotel & Spa in Santorini. The property is beautiful, with great attention to detail and every comfort you could wish for, but what truly made the difference was the incredible hospitality of the staff. A special thank you goes to three fantastic people who made our vacation memorable: Androkinis, Anna Maria, and George. Their professionalism, combined with genuine kindness and constant attention to our every need, made us feel pampered from the very first to the last minute. They were always smiling, helpful, and ready to go above and beyond. If you are looking for a dream stay in Santorini, with impeccable service and a unique atmosphere, the Orama Hotel is the ideal place. We will definitely be back!
