Aluasoul Zakynthos in Tragaki All inclusive! Flight was good and on time, transfer was ok apart from going to 5 other drop off points before reaching ours. On arrival because we paid for the “favourite club” we were expecting a personalised check in but no we had to stand in the queue with everyone else. The reception staff were ok but not very welcoming. We got shown to our room which was supposed to be a junior suite, it had amazing views but not what I would have classed as a suite, I expected it to be larger and have a sofa in it but it was one chair and a small table consistent with a double room. In the mini bar there were some drinks but these are not replenished, not even the water, you had to pay for water or refill the plastic bottles. We had access to the favourite club infinity pools but these were extremely cold in fact the sea was warmer. Unfortunately, we had bad weather while there and I know that cannot be helped by the hotel but the favourite club area shut at the first sight of drizzle which meant you had to go to the main bar for drinks which was up 3 stair cases and a ramp, no point in having the favourite club access. The hotel was not geared up for bad weather, there is no inside area for entertainment apart from a DJ, there was issues finding a table and a seat for people to sit. The drinks, even if you are paying all inclusive, are all local, if you wanted named spirits you had to pay extra, If you wanted crisps or nuts, that was also extra. you also had to pay for drinks after 23:00 hrs Food was very samey as it is in most buffet style hotel restaurants, often cold and limited choice, only scrambled, boiled or fried eggs offered at breakfast, strawberry and banana ice cream ran out twice during our stay. As favourite club members we had access to the favourite club pool area for snacks, these were very limited and if you wanted a burger for example that was pay extra, we were also entitled to unlimited a la carte dining at the mare Nubium restaurant but have to reserve a table, the restaurant was closed 2 nights because of the weather and it was not possible to book a table for us in the time we were there, it gets oversubscribed. On check out they said I owed €20, when I questioned it, because I know we didn’t put anything on the room tab, they said when they looked again I didn’t owe anything. Overall not very all inclusive! Would not recommend and would defiantly not go back

This hotel is definitely not like any 4 star hotels we have stayed in before. It is in a 4 star location and hotel areas are 4 star but the rest is 2star to 3star. We wanted this to be special and relaxing so paid the upgrade for a swim up pool and junior suite. Our Junior suite only had wardrobes, a double bed and one chair. Our patio area was lovely but we could not use it after 3pm as there was a sewer smell at this time every day and a lot of mosquitos which we assume are drawn by the smell. The MFC snack and drink bar did not serve snacks and had poor quality drinks, not premium brands as stated. The food was poor quality ie. only chicken all week was drumsticks or wings. No carved meats. They serve fish fingers, burgers and nuggets for evening meals. It is not all inclusive as you have to pay for items such as burger and chips, pizza etc from the snack bar. It is also 4 euros for an orange juice out of a carton. The food was never hot but lukewarm at best, it says it all that there is a microwave in the restaurant. One guest told us he would be furious if he had upgraded as we do not get anything different to anyone else, only the view. I am surprised by some of the reviews on here as they seem to be talking about a different hotel. While we were there a lot of people were complaining to the rep and were complaining to other guests, it surprises me that there are not more of those comments recorded on here. We would not stay here again and have complained to our travel company.

I had a fantastic stay at Alua Soul! The hotel is modern, clean, and beautifully maintained, with a relaxing atmosphere perfect for a holiday. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful — always smiling and ready to assist with anything we needed. The bars were great, offering a wide selection of drinks and cocktails, all well prepared and served with a smile. The food was delicious, with plenty of variety every day — from fresh salads and local dishes to amazing desserts. Everything was tasty and beautifully presented. The daytime entertainment was fun and engaging, with activities for everyone — from pool games to fitness classes. The entertainment team did an amazing job keeping guests entertained and creating a lively, positive vibe throughout the day. In the evening, the shows were fantastic! There was always something different to enjoy — live music, dance performances, and themed nights that created a wonderful atmosphere. The team put so much energy and passion into every event, making each night memorable. Overall, Alua Soul exceeded my expectations. It’s the perfect place to relax, have fun, and enjoy great service. I can’t wait to come back!
