Ammos Villas

We have just returned from an amazing 10 day holiday here. Highlights include the accommodation being very large with great working air con and the incredibly friendly and generous owners with their home made produce. The villa itself is in a very quiet part of the island but there are still many tavernas within walking distance and a great fruit market and well priced mini market 100m walk away. The beach with pool side bar.. perfect to spend a lazy day alternating between sea and pool.. is just a 5 min walk down a quiet lane. We would definitely return and thanks again for the great stay!

Fabulous self catering apartments with access to a beach with stunning turquoise sea less than a minutes walk. Apartments are very clean and have all amenities needed (also include free WiFi). Sadly no sun beds on the immediate beach area but a short walk along the beach brings you to some beach bars that offer free sun beds all day with the purchase of a drink or some food (very reasonably priced). Apartment owners offer great service and help/ advice regarding the area. If you want to go out and about a car is needed (apartment owners can arrange hire). Small amount of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful stay at Ammos Villas! The location is lovely, comfortable apartment and the owners Lina and Dionysis were so kind and generous, would happily return!

Wow! Ammos villas is such a delight of a place to stay. This small resort ( only 6 villas) is family run and the owners cannot do enough for you. You are treated like old friends, honestly the warmest reception you can imagine. We even arrived to a selection of complimentary local produce from their farm. They also run a car rental with very reasonably priced car hire. The villa itself is huge, we were 4 guests ( 2 adults and 2 children) but it could easily sleep 6 people comfortably. The kitchen is well equiped, with a spacious lounge area, and beautiful balcony too. Whilst there isn't a pool directly attached to the villa there is one 150 m down a path at the Amigos pool bar, again a lovely family run bar with a wonderfully clean and safe pool with free sunbeds if you buy a drink/ food from the bar. The area itself has plenty of local restaurants ( you have to try Kostas brothers and Skartsofoli) and the beaches are beyond expectation (expect to pay for sunbeds). If you want to step away from busy resorts and experience Greece at its finest this really is the place to stay. We would recommend hiring a car to get to some of the remote beaches (Dafni beach is a must visit) and see more of the island. Beautiful local beaches : banana bay, Porto Azzuro. Both worth a visit. They are walkable if you dont have a car.

This place is beautiful, spacious and perfectly located if you like the quieter side of holiday locations. We couldn’t believe it, open plan kitchen/diner/lounge downstairs then two spacious bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs, plus a lovely balcony large enough to fit two sun-loungers and a table and chairs for four. Absolutely fabulous! Oh, I haven’t mentioned the warm welcome from Lina, who couldn’t have been more helpful, and the complimentary bottle of local wine. Yamas!
