Aqua Deluxe

Food is absolutely awful , wouldn’t feed it to my dog. Staff in the restaurant are rude and very un accommodating. Gave me a plate of chicken despite me telling them I am vegetarian and do not eat meat! Rooms aren’t very nice can barely move around. Toilet smells like rotten eggs. Had no bedding when we arrived had to ask them to put some on.

Dear Aqua Deluxe, My family and I have just arrived in Copenhagen again after 1 week at your hotel and I really want to share our VERY positive experience because you deserve it. We were 5 people of different ages who went to Aqua Deluxe in Tsilivi and we all share the same opinion about the hotel, that is why we have written this review as we think the hotel deserves all the positive words we can find. It has without a doubt been a 5-star experience for us. I'm dividing my review into points to make it easier to remember everything :) 1. Hotel and room: Positive: We had booked a family room with a balcony. It was the most wonderful room, everything was nice and maintained. Unlike many other places in Greece, there was a real duvet instead of just a "sheet". The bed was very comfortable. Nice fridge with space for the most important things. Nice big balcony. Ours was in the shade all the time, which we were really happy about. The bathroom was lovely and spacious and everything worked. Easy check-in by the app. The app itself is very easy to use and provides good information. Very impressed. Negative: The only minus was that our neighbor smoked cigarettes on her balcony and it flew directly into us, so our clothes hanging outside stank of smoke :( It's not your fault, but as non-smokers we wish the hotel was smoke-free. 2. The hotel itself and pool: Positive: It's really clean everywhere. You make a big effort to make the area around the hotel and in the hotel really nice. There are many sun loungers to choose from and they are all soft and comfortable. The pool has a nice size and depth. There are several bars serving various drinks, and a place that makes delicious pancakes. Negative: As many others have pointed out, sun loungers are reserved EVERY DAY and many of the people are not seen in front of the pool during the day. I understand that you don't want to be the "pool police", but there should be someone who ensures that everyone gets a sun lounger and that those that are reserved are actually used. There are 20-25 bathing animals in the pool every day because people leave them lying around, which is nice enough, but they also take up a lot of space in the pool. Maybe they could be placed somewhere else? 3. The cleaning: I can't complain about anything here. They were really thorough every time they cleaned our room. Fresh towels were always ready for us. You can borrow some large bath towels from the reception and you can change them as often as you want, you just go down to the reception with the used ones and you will be given new ones. Very friendly staff who always greet and smile when you pass them. Nothing negative 4. The restaurant: We were completely blown away by the incredibly beautiful and well-maintained restaurant. A huge all-inclusive buffet with EVERYTHING you could think of. Not the same every day (some dishes were the same), but otherwise you were really good at making different food that everyone liked. Very well-cooked dishes. And we were very excited about the constant cleaning around the buffet. You made a lot of effort to dry up and remove crumbs and stains. Many waiters who were all really nice and professional. We had a waiter who after our first meal could completely remember what drinks we wanted with the food the following days. Very impressive. There is absolutely NOTHING negative to write about the restaurant. Great experience and you should be highly commended. 5. Water park: Free access to the water park every day! It was a huge success for our 11 year old son (and us) to be over there. We started by staying at the pool at the hotel, but after we had visited the water park once, we actually went over there every day. There are different things you can try. Water slides for all ages, a lazy river, a very large water park for the very young children with shallow water. And an "adult" pool with many sun loungers at the other end of the water park. Several bars and several different restaurants. Snacks like burgers and fries are included in the all-inclusive, so you can get them several times a day if you are very hungry (we never used the snack option because we were so full for all the meals in the restaurant :) ) They have some cleaners around the pool who are good at collecting used glasses together, so it is not messy or disgusting. There is entertainment by the pool every day and the staff are good at walking around and talking to people around the pool. We would especially like to mention "Opa" who was really sweet and was really good at entertaining and activating people around the pool. The toilets in the water park are cleaned several times a day. They are nice and well maintained. There are two restaurants in the water park (we only visited one because you have to book a table in advance, we didn't know that, so we weren't quick enough). But the one we visited was Italian and it was lovely, tasty, well-cooked food. Nothing negative. Overall: We really don't understand the bad reviews at all. They should be deleted. It's a shame for a hotel that is in no way as bad as some people write. We can't recognize the things people mention at all, I just have to say that. And I hope that people, like us, ignore the negative reviews and go to Aqua Deluxe anyway because they deserve it. We had the most wonderful holiday and we have been to many different resorts abroad and this is clearly at the top (if not number 1 actually). We got SO much value for our money. We are looking forward to coming back next year. We are already booking next year's trip to Aqua Deluxe in Tsilivi. Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday. Best regards Line & the family

Returned from a lovely week at the Aqua Deluxe. We went as a family group of 8 and it was perfect for all ages. The water park was brilliant, lots of slides for all the kids (ages 5-10yrs) plenty of bars around for drinks and the snack bar served up great lunch options. The rooms in the hotel were stunning. So well decorated and clean. Fresh towels twice a day. The only thing I would criticise is the air conditioning only went down to 18 which just wasn’t quite cool enough to keep you cool throughout the night. The pool by our room was great. The sunbeds are the best ones I’ve ever had at a hotel. So comfortable. You had to get up early to get ones close to the pool but there was plenty around so we never struggled to find some, even for a group of 8. The pool bar and creperie was great. Crepes were tasty and hot. Drinks were amazing with a great choice of cocktails. One thing I hate it when you have a cocktail list but they all look and taste the same but these actually tasted like the cocktail you ordered. The food in the main restaurant was nice, lots of choice and some cooking stations. They served you drinks from your table in the morning and evening which is a nice touch. The staff in all parts of the hotel were so friendly and helpful. Always smiling. I would most definitely return. I feel like this should be a 4.5 star, it’s not quite a 5 star.

Ill be honest, i read the reviews on here a couple of days before we went and it filled me with dread to where on earth we had booked. We didnt need to worry though because this hotel ticked most of the boxes for us, if not all! From check-in to check-out the hotel staff couldnt do enough, we arrived after the evening meals had finished but still had a delivery of food to our room so we didnt go without on our first night. We had a family room with sliding door which was big enough for a family of 4. Cleaned regularly and always topped up with fresh towels when needed. No issues with cleanliness, the pool area, waterpark, food or even being able to get decent sunbeds without scrambling about in the early hours. The gym has enough in it to get you by while away if thats your thing (cleaner kicks you out at 7am though to hoover if your not already on a running machine 🤣) The location is just far enough away from the main street so it doesnt cause an issue with noise from bars or resteraunts, but still easy to walk to without any hassle. No wallys trying to get you into their empty dives, more greeks smashing plates on the floor after a decent authentic meal and chilled out supping. If your going with kids id highly reccomend the mini golf course towards the far end of the ‘strip’ and theres an arcade on the way up with a few good VR machines etc. Overall a good holiday was had, reading trip advisor reviews will be avoided in the run up to every future holiday along with any tv program about plane disasters from now on!

Just returned from a weeks holiday here with my two sons, I was also apprehensive given some of the negative reviews but had no reason to be, we had a great time! The hotel is lovely, spotlessly clean, rooms were immaculate with fresh towels every day and lovely air con. We stayed in room 416 and I didnt get much sleep thanks to a local dog that resides outside of a house at the back of the hotel and barks (extremely loudly) all night long. Not the hotels fault but be warned if you're on this side of the hotel, sadly not come back well rested. I attempted to move rooms but speaking to others on the other side of the hotel they could also hear it so we didnt bother. The staff were great, not always overly friendly but work so hard, same staff working from morning to late into the night in different areas of the hotel so it must be a long day! The pool at the deluxe was great, my only gripe is that you have to get up around 6am and put towels down to stand any chance of the nice beds poolside, there are signs everywhere saying any towels placed before 9:30 will be removed by housekeeping but this simply doesnt happen and they were all gone by that time, not very fair especially when those reserved beds remain vacant most of the day. I raised this with reception and they said they'd sort it but nothing happened. The water park was great, and no trouble getting sunbeds later in the morning there so thats where we tended to camp out most days! The fact it was also covered under AI was a bonus. Food was great, breakfast was repetitive but it usually is, and remainder of the meals were great with loads of choice, great selection of AI drinks and cocktails too. Location is brilliant, ten min walk from the beach and main town for all the shops and bars. Overall we would return and had a great time at the Aqua Deluxe.
