Second visit, just as amazing as the first! The greek nights are fantastic, and although it’s the same from when we were there, the atmosphere is still really strong Food stands out as before, and the dishes were so fresh. Again the staff were absolutely amazing

Location - located on the outskirts of the town. It’s a pleasant walk into the town (although there isn’t pavements). It takes about 30 minutes to walk or a 5 minute, €10 taxi ride. Atmosphere - it is a very relaxed, chilled out vibe Rooms - exceptional! Beautifully laid out & well maintained. We stayed in a garden view suite with a private pool & have zero complaints! Value - it is very expensive to eat & drink within the resort but there is plenty of of places to eat & supermarkets in the town Staff - very friendly & polite. The housekeeping staff do a great job especially!

This is truly what a leading hotel should be. Welcomed in and a car park with plenty space. Rooms are thoughtfully laid out Laundry service a bit expensive, but was back the next day smelling amazing Food was insane, never a bad meal The staff on reception are always smiling, and are there for everything. In fact the staff make this hotel Don’t normally do hotels twice, but would absolutely do this one again

Lesante Cape is the ideal destination for a relaxing holiday with stunning sea views and excellent and attentive staff. Gazing over the neighbouring island of Kefalonia whilst enjoying a beer from the sun lounger will be a lasting memory. I would have no hesitation in returning to this first class establishment. A huge thank you to all the staff who made our stay so memorable.

There’s little point to a seaside resort if you can’t enjoy the swimming pools, the beach is virtually nonexistent, and your expensive “sea view” room primarily looks out at the backs of other buildings. But this is what we encountered during our recent stay at the Lesante Cape. The hotel was a major disappointment all around. As an avid swimmer, nothing thrills me more than the sight of a fabulous swimming pool. And the pools at the Lesante Cape are certainly stunning to look at. But they were also ice cold. During our stay I saw almost no one using them. At the prices the hotel charges, I would think they could afford to heat at least one of its pools. Otherwise they are little more than decorative settings. As for the beach, there basically isn’t one. A very steep flight of stairs leads down to a rocky shoreline, where two piers extend into the water. Each pier has a limited number of loungers, which were invariably occupied, and the water itself is less than enticing. Our room was another major letdown. Whan booking a “sea view” room at a luxury resort, it’s reasonable to expect a largely unobstructed view of the sea. Instead, our principal view was of the backs of other buildings, with the water visible beyond them – a thoroughly dispiriting sight. None of the above was helped by the overall look and feel of the hotel. The Lesante Cape is designed to resemble a traditional Greek village, which might be appealing in theory. And the landscaping is certainly lovely, along with the vineyard and vegetable garden. But the effect felt more contrived than authentic. For all its obvious ambition, the hotel never quite conveyed the understated elegance or authenticity one expects to find at a truly exceptional resort. We knew, going into our trip, that Zakynthos wasn’t necessarily an island of spectacular beaches or endless sights to explore. This is why we decided to splurge on a luxury hotel, assuming that its setting and amenities would compensate. Instead, the whole experience started to feel really claustrophobic, as there was nowhere to go on the property that felt in any way fun or uplifting. I will say that the staff were very pleasant and did their best to accommodate us, particularly once they realized how unhappy we were. But their kindness couldn’t make up for the hotel’s fundamental shortcomings. We’ve stayed in many wonderful seaside hotels over the years. There are far more rewarding places to spend a vacation than the Lesante Cape.
