Nikon Boutique Hotel

This boutique hotel was unfortunately not worth the high price. We booked a room with a private pool, but the room itself had several maintenance issues: the light on the bathroom mirror did not work, and some of the other lamps in the room were also broken. Our main issue, however, was the noise. There was a group of people partying late into the night on the terrace of the room next to ours on two nights, so we could not get the peace and relaxation we were looking for. We don’t understand how this kind of behavior is allowed in the hotel. The overall experience felt a bit strange, and the hotel seems to lack that special something. For instance, the food options at the hotel bar were extremely limited overall and they had odd restrictions on timings; you couldn’t order things like toasts after 3 PM, leaving only drinks available. Additionally, the breakfast could have been more abundant. The croissants and small pancakes were tasteless and felt like pre-packaged convenience food. Also, it seems they no longer serve the welcome drinks mentioned in older reviews—a small detail, but worth noting. On a positive note, the hotel was exceptionally clean and the housekeeping was absolutely first-class. Furthermore, the interior design is beautiful and you can certainly get great Instagram photos if that is your thing. However, due to the noise, room issues, and limited food options, it did not deliver the premium experience we paid for. Given the high cost, the value for money just isn't there.

Our stay at the Nikon Boutique Hotel was nothing short of extraordinary—and truly unforgettable in every possible way. From the very beginning, the team went above and beyond anything we could have expected. Prior to our arrival, I had reached out to mention that my partner would be celebrating a “special evening” during our stay. What they created out of that simple note was absolutely magical. Not only did they surprise her with a beautifully presented brownie and music, but they also upgraded our room and decorated it with flowers. It was such a thoughtful, heartfelt gesture that meant the world to us. What made it even more special: this trip became one of the most important moments of our lives—we got engaged during our stay. Whether the staff picked up on that or simply treated every guest with this level of care, we’ll never forget how incredibly warm, attentive, and genuine everyone was. Upon departure, we even received a small gift, which was such a touching final gesture. The hotel itself is stunning. The rooms are spotless—truly some of the cleanest we’ve ever experienced. We stayed in a room with a private pool, and it was absolutely breathtaking. Waking up to that view every morning felt surreal. The atmosphere is peaceful, elegant, and perfectly curated for relaxation. The food was consistently excellent, and the staff’s recommendations were always spot-on. Every interaction felt personal and sincere—never forced, always kind. All in all, this was more than just a hotel stay. It was a deeply meaningful experience that we will carry with us forever. We are incredibly grateful to have stayed here and cannot recommend this place highly enough. Thank you for making such a special time in our lives even more unforgettable.

The hotel is situated in a quiet area just a short walk to the main restaurants. The reception staff are very knowledgeable and the whole team work very hard to make your stay enjoyable. The rooms and all areas of the hotel are spotless and housekeeping is fantastic. Being a bit critical, the rooms are very modern, but lack storage space and for the ladies, what is the point of having a lovely mirror with no plugs nearby to dry your hair, obviously designed by a man. Breakfast was not enjoyable, surrounded by wasps all around the food, very short of space with a door opening out from the kitchen to the serving area, not a good design. We got tired of swatting wasps away and had our breakfast on our balcony which thankfully was wasp free. The hotel had taken steps to control the wasps, but you are outside in a canopied area, but there is nowhere to eat inside. Would I go back, yes, but not in September.
