Serenity Luxury Hotel Agrilia

We had many issues while staying, sadly too many to mention here. We spoke to TUI and the hotel but found both to be very unhelpful! The sunbeds by the pool are filthy dirty, stained and mouldy!!! we had dead flies in our room and despite asking it took them 3 days to sweep these up! The room was never cleaned, floors swept or bathroom cleaned. The bed linen and towels were changed every 2 /3 days as per their policy. The bed was made each day and bins emptied. We had no hot water for 2.5 days and freezing showers are no fun , not even in the beautiful Zante sunshine. Breakfast were as basic as they come. We didn’t spend any time or money at the hotel and instead spend our money at the beach and in the local restaurants and bars. A very very disappointing hotel !!

Me and my partner have just spent a week here and it was lovely, the location is ideal for relaxing as it is out of the way of the busiest part of laganas but the beach is also only a short stroll away so great area. The staff are very welcoming and do an amazing job of keeping everything up to date and tidy. Rooms were cleaned frequently throughout our stay with fresh towels. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hopefully will return in the foreseeable future

Im a very cautious holiday booker and I tend to go from reviews and unfortunately every single review on here let me down! I can’t express this enough, please avoid this venue at all costs. I booked a room upgrade because we was told we would get a private ‘jaccuzi’ and a bigger room. Upon arrival I was greeted to a room with poor maintenance, missing light bulbs, a shower which took about 20 minutes to get hot and a small bath rough 5ft by 3ft full of cold water in the terrance posing as a hot tub! It was covered in black residue and dirt and I can assure you if you take hygiene personally you won’t step foot in there! We didn’t feel brave enough after seeing the conditions of the terrance to which I have photos of. The only nice part of this place is the pool which was nice, we had no choice to spend our time around it because the room really let it down for us and the building site around the hotel! Cannabis smells and dogs barking all hours of the day really threw the ‘luxury’ out the window for us Not to mention the aircon having a horrid smell and 2 power cuts we endured at our stay and we wasn’t the only unhappy people staying, I even looked to book another hotel but I didn’t want to ruin my partners holiday! And to finish it all off we wasn’t left behind by our shuttle and told it was ‘our problem’ and the reception was of 0 help even though they gave us a sheet saying what time to be outside we was there early and it still left us behind! Money well wasted and a flight rushed so we didn’t miss it! If you like ‘luxury’ please avoid this place at all costs unless you plan to spend 0 time in the apartment. Please don’t make the same mistake we made as love holiday was extremely unhelpful and the hotel personally emailed us a pretty pointless email making our were liars even though I have video and photo proof of everything!

Me and my girlfriend booked the deluxe suite with a pool view , room 302 top floor (UPGRADE) more of a (DOWNGRADE). It was perfect at first glance but as the stay went on it got worse and worse. We wanted a room that was quiet and away from the strip to have a nice & relaxing sleep etc after going out ourselves everynight ( LUXURY SPA!) POLAR OPPOSITE. EVERYDAY & EVERY 5 MINUTES we were disturbed by BIRDS CONSTANTLY cooing & DOGS BARKING in cages in the neighbours garden. Also The Cleaners Kids Playing & screaming in the morning. There is no DO NOT DISTURB sign for the door so she would just knock and walk in when we were asleep. We had to ASK for FRESH toilet roll and towels. She did not make our bed till 4 days in. And only cleaned our room by emptying the bin. There Is A NEST in the solar panel on the roof where the birds are hibernating and Constant Sh!t all over the floor trailing into our rooms the smell was HORRENDOUS. I even cleaned it myself one night. ALL evidence in the review. We went to reception complaining and they said there was nothing they could do or even move us room they said they would send someone up to look at it. NO ONE DID. SLEEP is massively Important on any holiday! I was also severely FOOD POISONED on the last day from the hotels food. chicken was not fully cooked. The only good thing about this hotel was that the staff were absolutely lovely. Other than this I wouldn’t stay again and this is my first ever bad review about something EVER.

Fabulous stay. Spotless room and pool area. Plenty of sun beds and umbrellas. Breakfast perfectly adequate (apart from the nuclear orange juice !) Staff were lovely and generous bar servings. Food good at snack bar . Recommend you try nearby Grumpy’s restaurant. Don’t be put off by the name it’s amazing . 5 minutes in the opposite direction from the main town.
