Mandai Rainforest Resort by Banyan Tree

The resort is within walking distance to Mandai Wildlife Reserve. Excellent for zoo explorers/animals lovers. The room is spacious, would be the best if there's bathtub! The breakfast is good and there're various dining options at Mandai!

BANYAN TREE MANDAI RAINFOREST RESORT With the aim of squeezing in a quick break of a week’s holiday, without too much planning, but a unique experience in warm weather, the option of a Luxury Escape at the Banyan Tree RFR slipped across our sights. It looked like a good idea. Little did we know how grand it would be. We opted for the upgrade to the stupendous Treehouse room and what a bonus that was. From the moment of our arrival at the resort we were nurtured by the team, checking in at the open air lobby, fresh breezeway constantly cooling us, and then whisked into the care of the incredible hostess Christine. Christine gently shared her enthusiasm and pride of this resort that tantalises every sense at every turn. The architecture and design of this resort built to be sustainable and respectful of the environment and native flora and fauna, where humans and rainforest creatures co-exist in stunning harmony, is a sight to behold. We loved the troupes of monkeys and families of bush pigs with nine piglets sharing our vista. The vision is breathtaking at any time of day or night, with all care given to enhance the growth of the rainforest.’ Christine helped us plan our 5 days so we could enjoy the package of wildlife parks, in a pace that allowed rest in the resort facilities after enjoying the parks, indulging in the exceptional quality high tea or delicate breakfasts at Forage, explained and served expertly by the team of staff. Our nightly buffets had an endless spread of types of cuisine at Planters, accompanied by the daily cocktail. Our only criticism was that the food was not always very hot. We loved the guided nature tour as well as the bee keeping talk in the discovery garden on the hotel’s rooftop. The resort seemed to attract gentle loving families with young children who were in a paradise of their own. Our only fault lay with our not spending this dream holiday with our own children and grandchildren.

Just had a lovely two night stay at the Treehouse. Breakfast, high tea and dinner were all included in the package. It's a lovely area away from the hustle and bustle of the city, with convenient access to the various parks. There's also wildlife just at the doorstep — macaques, water monitors, an abundance of birds including the native white bellied sea eagle. The room was sumptuous and the interior incorporated various eco-friendly design elements. The views from all three pools were fantastic as well! Whether it was the rainforest, or the reservoir, it's an experience not to be missed. Christine and the Treehouse team provided immaculate service throughout the stay and did their best to ensure all our needs were met. Would definitely love to stay here again!

Having a great experience at the Mandal Rainforest Resort right at this moment during breakfast. The staff are extremely hospitable and everyone is smiling. The meals are catered for all diets and the coffee is incredible. Definitely recommend and ask for a friendly staff member named Priya, who was very accommodating during breakfast
