Alegria Colonial Mar Aquafun

To start the transfer to the hotel was delightful (private transfer). The room was adequate on arrival, but only got cleaned twice the whole 7 nights . The beds were made up but that is it never got changed ( I did ask ). The aircone was near on none existent cool at its best . The restaurant was spotlessly clean . The food was way way way below average and the same almost every day and night . The pool looks amazing but oooo my god ive never been in a pool so cold . And to top everything off the evening entertainment where do I start the Mini disco for the little ones didn't start until 21.30 and adult entertainment from 22 30 what are the owners or the management thinking with these times a complete and utter waste of time the kids are all shattered by the time it starts and we didn't even bother with the adult entertainment as it was too late . I can say the staff were brilliant very pleasant. To end this hotel is really catered for the much more mature person . The average age mainly is over 60's and if I was of that age I would visit again but not until I reach that time of life .

The hotel is lovely and clean, room are good in size. Staff are friendly but have limited English so brush on your Spanish it would be helpful. The entertainment team are great, one doesn't speak English but the rest do. The live entertainment was good other than a singer one night who only addresses the Spanish guests and sing Spanish songs. The food really let it down, I'm not fussy but struggled to find something I liked, the salad bar was good and the bean stew but everything with meat in was awful and really salty with bones in everything even turkey cutlets had bones in them. We had a couple of issues in our room, the shower rail kept falling down and the bathroom flooded each time the maintenance team was there within ten minutes, very efficient. The Jet2 rep based there, Christina is amazing and helps with absolutely anything you need and sends helpful texts. The local area is quiet and not at all touristy. Very few people speak English, so again a need to know a few basic words is needed.

i went with a few friends they said the food was the best, 30 minuets from the airport (pov: its only up the road from the nearest lidl :p .) the service was 11/10 noise was quite quiet it was the cleanest room thought the hotel. Value= the best rooms got a balcony aswell the pool is amising, restraunt is realy nice i might aswell go back!
