Cabogata Beach Worth a read peeps! We are currently stopping at this hotel and usually people write their views on their return, we are writing this now whilst still holidaying as we feel it is well worth the courtesy it deserves to a top customer service team. The hotel is mint, it really is. I know some guests may find it not as they expect and I respect those guests but I tell you, the hotel is outstanding. I do wonder if people do so to protect their find but you have to celebrate success, and this is at this hotel. I would not write these comments with still 3 or 4 days still to go before we travel back to the UK. Our holiday ventures are extensive so have had exposure to all levels of hotelier and different customer levels. I would do chapter and verse but let me tell you, the customer service is impeccable. Ariana is an exceptional ambassador for the hotel group and she has consistently gone over and above to meet our needs. A personal escorted tour to the room on arrival and showing us the different aspects, route planning and making enquiries for a planned trip for us, boat and timings etc, the full planning service and doing all the leg work for us whilst we do our thing are just a couple of examples taking all the admin onboard for us. It felt like she was our own personal pa and she just did this as part of her role. Our room was perfect and spotless. I am an ex Bootneck so cleanliness and ship shape orderly systems are my thing. The location is on the beach, the pool perfect and grounds as required. Food too, really good and usually we do AI but the option we choose allowed us to explore a bit but we were not disappointed and plenty of choice and high levels of flavour and signature presentation. I made a point of being the first in one night and I loved how chefs cherish their craft before allowing entry. We saw a chef breakfast cooking some individual dish this morning too and we loved the option to eat inside or outside on the large terrace in the shade before it got too hot. I’m a big lad so I was not let down. Weather really hot for our visit now at the beginning of sept and not what we are used too in the Uk so ice- I mean ice cold AC in our room is a welcome break from the heat. The lobby areas have a cool welcoming scent in the main public area, a lovely little bit of me and je na sais quoi, lovely touch hotel. I could go on, but no. Definitely a 5 star. I’m a people person so having Ariana and her team look after us is definitely 6 star ( something I have only seen in UAE.) Would I come again, yes, already we planning a trip with wider families as they all want to come. CabotaBeach, you do an amazing job and still are. Thank you Travelling with wife

✨ We Stayed here last week for 4 nights – Room 259 Before arriving, we were a little unsure after reading some mixed reviews, but we really needn’t have worried — this hotel far exceeded what we expected. Jamie at reception checked us in smoothly: friendly, helpful and really accommodating — and that warm, helpful attitude was true of every team member we met, including the bar staff. We booked room‑only but ate lunch and dinner at the pool bar a few times; the food was lovely. Our room had a Nespresso machine — great touch. After the free pods ran out, we just bought more from a nearby supermarket instead of paying hotel prices. Bathrobes were provided, though a little on the small side for an adult man. If I had to mention one tiny thing: there was plenty of shower gel and shampoo, but no hand soap or body lotion at first. I mentioned it, and extra items were brought within minutes — perfect service recovery. Plenty of sun‑beds available all day — the rule no reserving beds with towels works brilliantly and feels fair to everyone. Even though it was fully booked, service never slipped or felt rushed. Parking was easy too — staff told us about free on‑street parking nearby, or a public car park just 2 minutes’ walk away (even shorter if you use the hotel side gate with your room key). We honestly couldn’t fault our stay — and we’re already planning to come back!

We have recently stayed at this hotel for a short break. It is classed as 5 star, it is lovely to look at, however, I feel it is a case of style over substance. On arrival, as we had checked in previously online, it was a fairly simple procedure, however, we were not given any information on the hotel or its layout. There was no offer of assistance with our luggage even though it was obvious my husband has walking difficulties. The receptionist just pointed to the corridor and said the lift was there, it was a long walk to the lift, many areas were a good walk and flight of stairs to the pool and dining areas even though the hotel states it accessible for all guests. The room was clean and well presented, with a good view over the pool to the sea, but we really did not like the layout of the open plan bathroom, the toilet cubicle was ridiculously tiny. The whole atmosphere of the hotel was soul less, there wasn’t any sort of bar to relax in, only outside tables or high stools and tables in a sort of dining room. We were on bed and breakfast basis, there was a large selection to choose from, but unfortunately there were a lot of small flies around the fruit section and some of the dishes on the hot plate looked like they had been there for a long time. The pool area was good and well kept with plenty of sun beds and shades. For the price we paid we would have expected a lot more, we actually left a day earlier than planned and doubt if we would go back or recommend the hotel.
